XMG Reports Higher Availability of Ryzen 5000 Mobile Processors

Laptop manufacturer XMG Has recently reported that the supply of AMD Ryzen 5000 mobile processors has increased considerably in the past weeks with this availability expected to continue through the coming months. These supply improvements come after an ongoing period of global chip shortages which has resulted in price increases for various electronics devices. XMG also reports that the supply of components from Intel and NVIDIA is expected to remain stable but ICs from Realtek and Cypress continue to fluctuate in availability and pricing.

The availability of AMD's current mobile processors from the Ryzen 5000 series has improved significantly over the past few weeks. The coming months continue to promise a reliable CPU supply.

The graph is scaling from zero (0 units) and the scale is linear (not logarithmic).
We won't release total numbers, that's why we removed the y-axis label.
But you are correct, the "zero point" should have been marked. We will take this into consideration for next time.

It's a sufficiently large number to keep our business alive and make us the #1 BTO (Build-to-order) Gaming Laptop vendor in Germany and probably #2 in Europe (minus Turkey), trading blows with PC Specialist from the UK.

The numbers are not meant to let you estimate the total size of AMD's market share nor does it allow speculation on how the supply has been ramping for multi-national brands such as Lenovo, Asus and HP.

The chart merely illustrates how supply is getting substantially better for us.

• Renoir started pretty rough in August 2020 but got better and better over the months.
• Cezanne is doing the same thing again with relatively small numbers at the beginning (many months after our official product launch) and now ramping up.

In the past, we used to be quite transparent about the situation (example) and incoming stock with Ryzen 5000, although substantial in numbers, was sometimes sold out in just a few days.
Today's news flash is now a kind of "all-clear" signal for people who are interested in our products.

Hell, my former client wouldn't buy anything but U, despite being repeatedly told that's a poor choice for dev laptops.
