World-leading memory brand, Team Group, has announced new breakthroughs in the Team Group ELITE U-DIMM DDR5 Standard Memory. To ensure compatibility with next-generation platforms, Team Group has pioneered the first high-performance 6400 MHz spec per JEDEC definitions for consumers to enjoy upgraded performances with ease in the DDR5 generation.

To ensure a stable performance of 6400 MHz and above of the DDR5, Team Group has adopted the new CKD (client clock driver) components designed to strengthen, buffer, and steadily output high-frequency signals from the CPU to DDR5 memory kits, effectively ensuring high frequencies while supporting reliable high-speed transmissions. Team Group is dedicated to R&D and working simultaneously with motherboard manufacturers for rigorous compatibility testing, offering high-quality and highly compatible memory products for desktops and laptops to consumers around the world, fulfilling user demands for PC, laptops, or other small systems.

With the development of new technologies, Team Group is seeking to apply the CKD solution to DDR5 memory kits for Team Group's T-FORCE gaming brand and creators' brand, T-CREATE, in hopes of upping frequencies in OC memory to 9000 MHz or higher, to deliver ultra-fast gaming experiences for gamers, and reliable, high-performance information processing solutions for creators. With mature capabilities and commitment to R&D and innovation, Team Group is dedicated to offering diverse DDR5 solutions and launching high-quality, top-performance, and fully compatible DDR5 memory to provide the best performing products that meet the diverse demands of global consumers.

There's not just one default, there are 3 or 4 classes defined for every speed. Looking just at tightest timings, CL is 10 ns in DDR2 and DDR3 and 12.5 ns in DDR1 and DDR4.

You've been expecting something faster I guess but ... no. It will be DDR5 CL40 probably, and in the best case DDR5 CL32 because latency is not improving over time.

It will only matter in servers and workstations anyway.

Well if ddr4-3200 is 22 (typically) I would expect 44 for this or that ballpark

Probably even higher. CL40 is normal for JEDEC DDR5-4800, so I would expect CL52 or CL54 for JEDEC DDR5-6400.
