Kingston FURY Renegade DDR4 delivers amazing speeds up to 5333 MT/s, making it the ultimate choice for power users. The bold two-tone black heat spreaders are on double duty as they not only enhance the look of your build but also manages heat while you're deep at work or play to ensure optimal performance. For those seeking an extra dose of excitement, Kingston FURY Renegade DDR4 RGB boasts a stylish two-tone black heat spreader illuminated by 10 LEDs to create dynamic RGB lighting effects kept in lock-step by Kingston FURY's patented Infrared Sync Technology. "As we continue to give our users more options to truly make their builds their own, we've updated the look of the heat spreaders and added more LEDs to RGB modules," said Kristy Ernt, DRAM business manager, Kingston. "We're happy to now offer users these new modules with heat spreaders specifically designed with the Kingston FURY brand identity in mind."

I like the black & grey versions, the rainbow circus pukers.... not so much :D

Also, I'm no ram expert, but isn't 1.6V a tad on the high side for normal, everyday uses ?

I know the tweakerz out there tend to push stuff to the limits, but my last venture (admittedly a few years ago) into DDR4 o/c's stopped @~1.375V to get a stable ~3600mhz, on intel rigs at least :)

Yeah, 1.6v is pushing it, Samsung B die can get hot if not cooled.
I run Micron E at just under 1.4v for 3867 on 12600k, I am MC limited not memory sticks.

5333MT DDR4?? Hot damn! I want some of that! With DDR5 on the market, do you think any faster DDR4 kits will ever be released?

We need a review of these kits, because the 5333 16Gb kit starts @£195 which is DOA imho, when you can geta 32gb (2x16) DDR5 CL30 6000 kit for £103. What CPU is going to be able to take adavantage of DDR4-5333 speeds? The sweet spot for Ryzen 5000 is 3733 and 3600 for 12900k, after which its just deminishing returns afaik.

That's £195 for 2x8gb too, yikes. Will anyone buy them now

Some people hanging on dearly to DDR4 actually would get that. There are 1700 DDR4 boards that are still selling too.

Yeah from what I last checked, prices are already going up a lot for DDR4 now, the bottoming out has passed, and its upwards only from now on as supply dwindles.

I have some nice DDR4 4000C16 B die sticks. Did notice the price dropped, so maybe it will go up again.

Seems expensive for 2x8gb sticks, near 400 quid for 32gb

I've got a DDR3 kit that was over the $1500 when it launched and it's only 2x4GB. Some people will pay for the speed.

(no I didn't buy it)

See my thread here, where I noted seeing the article over at Tom's about this very thing:
