Cooler Master, a leading provider of PC components, gaming peripherals, and tech lifestyle solutions, has today announced the NR200P V2 - a redesigned new take on the classic high performance NR200P case. The V2 keeps things compact and frees up desk space without sacrificing any of the performance benefits users expect from an NR200P case, such as versatile cooling support and maximized airflow.

Key features and benefits of the NR200P V2 include:
1. Powerfully compact: An ultra-sleek 18.25L design delivers unmatched performance and aesthetics with vented steel and tempered glass side panels.
2. Versatile cooling support: No performance compromises with support for 240 mm/280 mm liquid coolers, providing the ultimate in thermal efficiency.
3. Optimized GPU performance: An efficient vertical airflow layout supported by a 120 mm bottom-mounted fan keeps your GPU extra cool.
4. Comprehensive GPU support: With the included customized PCIe 4.0 riser cable, the NR200P V2 provides vertical GPU mounting that supports GPUs up to 356 mm in length and 160 mm in height. An additional GPU holder is attached to provide extra stability.
5. Easy, tool-free access: All external panels are secured with pins for easy removal, facilitating quick access to the internals without the use of tools while a removable GPU panel simplifies the installation process.
6. USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Type C support: A USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Type C port is built into the I/O panel with up to 20 Gb/s transfer speeds.
7. Refreshed NCORE style: A redesigned look provides a sleek take on maximizing cooling performance and style simultaneously.

The NR200P V2 is the industry-leading choice for a case that provides big performance in a small form factor.

Is this a paper launch? No mention of when it's purchasable in stores?

It is NOT a sequel to the NR200P, but the NR200P Max...
Since it is now vertical only (like the Max), I won't even consider buying the V2.

Risers just up the cost without any real benefits. PCIe 5.0 is also around the corner for GPUs.

Talk about a company not listening to its clients. Cooler Master needs to keep V1 on the market but with updated Front USB and minor improvements. Have all three products with updated FP:

- V1 for regular mounted GPU
- V2 for custom watercooling
- V2 MAX with included PSU and cooling

This is what people want.

Risers do allow putting in a bigger GPU without having to make the case noticeably bigger, for SFF that's a real benefit an equal compatibility a sandwich design will be smaller. But it's another point of failure, and starting from 4.0, they are fairly expensive. So the benefits really depends on your personal criteria for a case.

Sama might be a good alternative (slightly bigger tho)

Really weird they'd take away options for GPU mounting. Maybe they're trying to send that crowd to the NCORE 100 MAX? Not that I agree with that decision...

"Time is a cruel mistress"

Calling something only a few years old "classic" just feels wrong, especially a SFF-case that riffs on other designs. . . .
18.25L is not SFF it's even quite big

I'm still using my NR200P V1, for me it is near perfect, all it needed was better PSU airflow (I'm using an older Silverstone unit, which kind of struggles with cooling with its 80 or 90mm fan, during the summer I have to place a fan from the other side of the case while having the mesh panel off) and updated USB ports, that's pretty much it.
