Have you tested for the 'you-know-what'? Dry eye has become a known symptom, might be inducing your pink eye.

The test said negative yet I had symptoms..

I'd test again in a few days. Some test kits are hit and miss with detection (but a positive is always a positive).

I'd advise you do that because thar mirrors my symptoms in early covid days and I eventually did test positive, but it took a few weeks to register.

Get well soon regardless. Sick sucks no matter the reason.

Drink a hot lemon tea after the pills, and pay the doc a visit if it continues, could be an allergy to something in your flat that keeps coming back.
