ORICO unveiled a unique 4-port SATA hub that's compact and styled like a USB hub. The 6566-S4 from ORICO takes in one eSATA connection, that it port-multiplies to four. The hub takes in an auxiliary DC power input, which it uses to power its port-multiplier logic. Connected devices still need their own power sources, as these ports are not power-eSATA. The hub also has link/activity LEDs for each downstream port. Downstream SATA devices are hot-swappable. ORICO did not reveal pricing or availability information.
