PS4 = Sony. Sony can suck my @#$%
XBone = Static HTPC. Why not pay a little bit more to get something far more flexible?
Wii U = Nintendo 3DS with a box for a disk. Nuff' said.
Pass, pass, pass.
Off topic: I'd just like to remind people of the hypocrisy of Sony. I'm sure you've all heard of SecuROM DRM. That's a product of Sony DADC (Digital Audio Disc Corporation). Sony has been selling SecuROM to companies, successfully, over the past decade and brought to PC gaming the plague of limited install authorizations. Sony trolled PC gamers good likely in an effort to scare them to the PlayStation where gamers don't have to "deal with" intrusive DRM. Now, XBone has Sony DADC technologies built in and Sony screams "buy me because I'm not that guy!" It disgusts me.
Most people don't realize it yet but XBone DRM's model is what publishers (including Activision, Microsoft, Electronic Arts, Capcom, Square Enix, etc.) demand. I expect XBone will have a sluggish start because of all the bad publicity but come the end of the product lifecycle, I anticipate XBone will catch up and pass PS4. Why? XBone has an incentive to release exclusives: publishers get a piece of the used games action. Where developers go, consumers go. This is the same reason why Windows corned the market in the 80s and 90s. Because of all this, PS5 will have the same online-only model the XBone has. Nintendo may adapt it too.
Yeah, XBone DRM is repulsive to console gamers but it is water under the bridge to PC gamers. It is coming to consoles whether they like it or not.
