I don't care whether you're a PS3 fanboy, Xbox fanboy, or Wii fanboy, or no fanboy at all. State your honest opinion, if you had to choose one, which console would you choose this year? (Note: If you only play on PC, then chose which one you would choose IF you were going to buy a console. :))

Here are the detailed specs of each (from the IGN website):

If PC was there id vote for that, but out of those three PS4 hands down!

I already have a Wii U and recently introduced my son to Mario and other Nintendo franchises, have lots of fun with him playing those games :p.

Was lucky to get a launch date edition preorder for a PS4 from Amazon, I honestly think it has the more potential to have good exclusive games in the short term, and you can't beat its current price, so I voted for PS4

Eventually, I plan to get an Xbone, but not before its price comes down to a more reasonable level, it has way too many good exclusives too, like Halo and Forza, which I have become addicted to.

I game on any system, been doing so since the Atari 2600, the PC being the only constant platform of choice through the decades, I sincerely believe there's never been a better time to be a gamer :)

Include the PC option lol.

I'd probably go console if they made they keyboard+mouse setup possible and their games cheaper.

Lol actually see the thread is about comparing the main three new generation of consoles. We all know PC is the best. But, IF you were to get a console, which would you choose?

p.s. I have PC + PS3. Actually currently my PS3 is a dedicated media server, because I haven't played games in a long long time! But I watch movies and TV shows every day, and stream them through my PS3 from my PC using PS3 media server.

I think this really comes down to exclusives. Nintendo has the only exclusives I would want to play. I would not need to buy one though, I would just go to a friends house.

Actually you can buy the download-only option with the console (ps3 at least), which is cheaper than buying the disc.

I agree though it would be nifty if you could keyboard/mouse with the console. However it would give a significantly unfair advantage to PC gamers! Because mouse can be so much higher resolution and more control than a controller.

Personally however I enjoy the controller experience also; it is a nice experience to me.

Wii U for Zelda, then I'll sell it.

If I buy a gaming console this generation it will be PS4.

I'll get the PS4 and the new wii but it will not be for a long time. Will have to see whats what and how many games that i be interested in which was only a few with the PS3...

I do know i will not get a Xbox 1 unless they change their policy's to at least compete with the PS4 which is never going happen.

In the end it be proberly years before i pick one up lmao.

PS4 = Sony. Sony can suck my @#$%
XBone = Static HTPC. Why not pay a little bit more to get something far more flexible?
Wii U = Nintendo 3DS with a box for a disk. Nuff' said.

Pass, pass, pass.

Off topic: I'd just like to remind people of the hypocrisy of Sony. I'm sure you've all heard of SecuROM DRM. That's a product of Sony DADC (Digital Audio Disc Corporation). Sony has been selling SecuROM to companies, successfully, over the past decade and brought to PC gaming the plague of limited install authorizations. Sony trolled PC gamers good likely in an effort to scare them to the PlayStation where gamers don't have to "deal with" intrusive DRM. Now, XBone has Sony DADC technologies built in and Sony screams "buy me because I'm not that guy!" It disgusts me.

Most people don't realize it yet but XBone DRM's model is what publishers (including Activision, Microsoft, Electronic Arts, Capcom, Square Enix, etc.) demand. I expect XBone will have a sluggish start because of all the bad publicity but come the end of the product lifecycle, I anticipate XBone will catch up and pass PS4. Why? XBone has an incentive to release exclusives: publishers get a piece of the used games action. Where developers go, consumers go. This is the same reason why Windows corned the market in the 80s and 90s. Because of all this, PS5 will have the same online-only model the XBone has. Nintendo may adapt it too.

Yeah, XBone DRM is repulsive to console gamers but it is water under the bridge to PC gamers. It is coming to consoles whether they like it or not.

The one without a gamepad, if they ever make one. Life cycle needs to be shorter though.

My choice is not on your list:(

$10 says that is exactly what's going to happen. All publishers want guaranteed money, they dont care about the users experience with DRM. If you want to play their games, you gotta pay the price.
I'd get PS4, purely for the cost and power.

+1 for PC, and because it is not listed, the vote go to PS4...

PC isn't an option,so PS4 it is.

No PC, so PS4.

And why PS4? KINGDOM HEARTS 3

I'd probably go for Xbox One because of the Halo series/Gears of War / Fable series. None of the PS titles really interest me as a PC gamer ...

I thought this guy got banned for spammig a few times now maby not? Anyways pc is master race. But if i was given one for free it would be the ps4.

If I had to choose it would be the ps4 the xbox seems to be just a crappy htpc
