Welcome back to another giveaway goodness! This time let's throw out "Aliens Colonial Marines" and the Season Pass.

Requirements: TPU member since June 2013, post count of 75 or been thanked 30 times. Steam account is required, and must NOT own the game, as you can only enter for yourself.
WCG/F@H: Active team members for either team are exempt for requirements. Additionally, they will have their name entered twice in the drawing ;)

To Enter: Post which Alien movie is your favorite and why :)

Closing Time: Aiming for Thursday ~7pm EST, give or take... :p
Important: The winner, once announced and PM'd, will have 36 hours (strictly enforced) to claim their prize. If not, they forfeit and a new winner will be drawn and announced!

Random: The Winner will be drawn randomly using Random.org


It's a pleasure to see so many giveaways lately. I've had to wait to be able to throw my own so as not to overlap another, and that's a nice sign IMO :respect: Let's keep up the great work!

The second Aliens. Why? "Nuke it from orbit its the only way to be sure" and "I like to keep this handy ... For close encounters" and the exoskeleton vs queen fight! The tank is awesome too!
 
I enjoy both 1 and 2 equally.

Aliens one as it is a psychological head f*** and 2 for the awesome special effects that still look good today.

for me, it was the first movie, because that's when we learned about the aliens and didn't know what to expect(no one expected the dinner scene, not even the actors when they filmed it). I had nightmares for a long time about that movie(I was 8).

The first one, Classic film, and classic chestburster scene. Very atmospheric, and kinda scary in the confined situation they were in.

Aliens, because it had all those classic funny parts here n there. My favorite one..

Gorman: Any other questions?
Hudson: *raises hand*
Gorman: What is it private?
Hudson: How do I get out of this chicken shit outfit?
Apone: You secure that shit Hudson!

Few seconds later after the huddle is over...

Apone: Alright sweethearts you heard the man and you know the drill, assholes and elbows! Hudson come here....come here!!!

The way he said that last part had me dying on the floor :roll:

We got tactical smart missiles, phase-plasma pulse rifles, RPGs, we got sonic electronic ball breakers! We got nukes, we got knives, sharp sticks...

I loved the first alien movie.. I remember seeing it at the drive in back in the day when drive ins were in haha.. it was the aliens that was first seen in my mind and it really freaked me out. Been a fan forever. :)

The chest burster is the best alien out of the whole movie.

BTW not entering, I have enough games as it is and I do not want to be sidetracked on another.

I think I will do the same. My brain always says "get that game!!" but instincts always tell me no. I think I'll listen to them this time :laugh:

Not joining but my favorite was the second one. colonial marines baby!

first one was kinda boring.
third one was creepy
fourth one really sucks
 
Aliens. Alien, even though i was good, the fact that it was lower budget showed a bit. Plus i liked all the we are marines, no one can fuck with us attitude when she was trying to tell them they were basically all gonna die a horrible death, the exo loaders are awesome and the queen fight was just epic at the end. It's actually quite rare that people seem to prefer the sequel over the original. It seems to be this way looking at the answers...

In fact i also liked the second game over the original. Sure original was also good, but it was just so twitchy and felt like an indie game. But the AvP2, now that felt properly good. Build on top of one of my favorite game engines, LithTech presented the game in an amazing way and all 3 sides were also done really well, especially the alien with all the nibbling through the rib cage of a human. Just epic.
 
Not entering. My favorite was the second movie "Aliens", but I liked both. What I liked about it was the drop ship, the APC, the sound of the Pulse rifle, Sigourney Weaver half naked, all of Bill paxton's and Ricco Ross's lines! :toast: Oh and did I say Sigourney Weaver half naked? hehehe come on I was a growing boy, and we didn't have the web.. ;) hehehe
