I found one on guitar hero 3 to be harder. It didn't have the no strum section in the solo. Although the verse was harder, I worked so much more on the guitar hero one on expert. This i beat in first try.

Very true, but to tell you the truth, it is just as easy on each. On GH3, it is very easy to get 100% on expert, on the hammer-ons, strum at the top of every note (strum the yellow, then hammer red and green, strum the yellow, then hammer the red and green)

The thing is, the notes go so fast, that when you strum, it encompasses 4-5 notes at a time, so long as your fingers can move fast enough (turn the guitar down on your lap facing up, or some people use both hands to hammer on, while strumming with their elbow)

The world tour and metallica idea of hammer-ons and pull-offs are much better than that of LOR, where you have to re-strum when you miss a note

100% lol only song i got that on was bulls on parade. It's hard for me to get 100% i always screw up somewhere. Sounds like you a better player than me. I've mostly been doing the drums lately. Built myself a double kick mod for the expert+ songs. ill take a pic of it when i get home. Basically followed a pedal mod from scorehero but used my double kick pedal instead of a single.

my fingers are messed up so I have trouble with Medium because they throw in the blue one. I've f'ed up my pinkies a ton of times so they respond as well as normal.

I haven't bought anything since GH3 Legends of Rock because I can buy so many add-ons for it there is no reason to buy a new one. The only think I like it the Drums for the new ones...

each new guitar hero adds more and better songs, metallica has a great setlist, although smaller. The real fun doesn't start until you hit expert.

Going to post some scores this weekend. I could probably get more points on hard, but if you can play expert, and don't, then you just aren't melting faces to your full capacities!
Don't be afraid to post some scores.

Picked up mine for PS2 today. Started playing and I think my guitar is broken. :( Maybe I'll get all pissed off and go buck crazy and smash it to pieces!

PS2 guitars should be pretty cheap. Is the game pretty smooth for you?

For the most part yes, there are some laggy spots when you create the character but gameplay is smooth.
