InWin has launched its new Mercury AM120S slim and silent 120 mm PC fan, which provides truly silent cooling within a slim 20 mm thick frame. The Mercury AM120S features a unique turbine blade design that is molded to the outer edge of the fan blades within the frame. This design concentrates airflow and avoids air leakage between the frame and blades, resulting in a concentrated airflow with reduced noise. The blades themselves also feature a unique engraved design that improves the balance of air pressure across the blade.

The Mercury AM120S operates at a truly silent 17 dBA. At its maximum airflow, it's capable of achieving over 60 CFM and 2.72 mm/H2O static pressure at just 29 dBA, which is comparable to other standard sized fans despite being housed in a more compact enclosure. The slimmer fan is about 20% smaller too. Several Mercury AM120S fans can be connected together using InWin's "Lock-N-Go" extension cable for more practical, user-friendly cable management. The anti-slide buckle ensures they stay securely fastened.

The Mercury AM120S includes ARGB lighting that illuminates outwards from the center of the fan itself. The ARGB lighting is controlled via standard 3-pin header plug that's compatible with common motherboard software and PC lighting systems. InWin's ARGB One-Click controller offers 14 lighting modes and is also an alternative option for users that don't have an ARGB capable motherboard.

Overall power consumption figures look pretty reasonable for claimed performance. Would like to see review of these fans.
