Yes ive seen it but cutting of 3 corners and drilling 4 holes right up to the edge of the plate saved me 60 pounds.
Money is tight here so no point if I can do the same thing by drilling the plate I already had but thx for letting me know.

That X spring below the gpu from the stock cooler took some drilling to open up the holes.
I think it was nickel plated because I burned out 2 hss drills.

Nice work. I would suggest adding plastic thread sleeve inserts through the pcb where you have the bolts going through. Stock bolts are anodized with a non-conductive paint. Or maybe you have, can't tell from the picture for sure..but on zooming in it does look like there is something white there?
