I'm on PNY RTX 4080 super, an AMD R7 7600x CPU and Windows 10 22H2, connecting hdmi with 7680*4320 (8k) resolution 60hz to TV, whenever i turn volume to 0 the screen goes blank or glitches.
Any help would be appreciated!
What I tried:
1. change resolution to 4k 120hz, the problem is solved;
2. change some other drivers, not useful;
3. switch to another graphics card with 8k capabilty, useful;
4. change the display mode of TV, not useful;
5. change the color setting, like RGB/YUV and bit depth, not useful;
6. switch a cable, preparing
7. switch to another main board bios, preparing

Samsung have some QLED 8K TV's in the £2k bracket

My bet is the HDMI cable is it a 2.1 48Gbps cable? I didn't even know they went up to that kind of resolution tbh, either that or HDCP perhaps?

An Active 8K Fiber Optic HDMI Cable may be the solution.

Could there be an issue with the AMD GPU in the cpu and a AMD HDMI sound unit thats giving trouble?
