Generic PNP drivers are fine. Monitors have not needed drivers except certain LG panels while using certain docks. I had some weird fringe cases with those when I used to work a helpdesk.
Yes, I want to adjust the brightness, volume and night vision, but it won't let me, if I change to the default Windows adapters it will let me, but the ones I use from AMD won't let me, they are in the latest version, what is the reason? this?

From what I know Philips is one of the few brands that actually gives you a program to adjust this even using vga.

monitors DO HAVE drivers. Though, not all, and I don't know what it gives, but I'm that type of p***fictionist who likes to see "BRAND name hardware" instead of "generic BS", lol
