FiiO updates its desktop DAC/amplifier line with the new flagship K19. This is an all-in-one device that builds upon the K9 Pro ESS with a new form factor, integrated screen, HDMI input/output/ARC support, new ES9039PRO DACs, an 8-channel THX amplifier design, a dedicated DSP engine for 31-band PEQ with onboard EQ profiles, and much, much more to help justify the asking price.

Yeah, this DAC/Amp is really aimed at an audiophile who is also a power user/core enthusiast. The fact that this has e-ARC capability through the HDMI ports is a big plus, with ASIO support being the icing on the cake.

Too bad about the $1,300 price though, but hey FiiO knows who this is aimed at. It's better than using an AV receiver with a PC, which has its own quirks, particularly with compatibility and possible issues with latency.

Why limit yourself to ARC when eARC is more current, contrary to what many people believe that eARC is not only available on HDMI 2.1, but HDMI 2.0 as well.

Yeah that pretty much sums it up right there.
I'm OK with suspending up to $500 or so, that's it.

I mean, they used large legs and everything, but having this in an upright position still seems like a self-inflicted wound. Especially since, because of the large legs, you're barely saving any desk space.
