Pretty straightforward - I'm considering a higher end mouse, something in the $150 range, probably magnesium alloy. Preferably light, otherwise the use of magnesium doesn't really make sense, but it doesn't have to be the lightest.
I know a lot of this is subjective, feel in hand and such, and most of them seem to be using the same sensor these days, but first hand experience is still appreciated!
