Hello, I bought an ASUS X515EP with i5 1135G7 Processor, MX330 graphics card, 8 GB DDR4 3200Mhz RAM and 512 GB M2 SSD, can I play games and do my homework with this device, and do it Windows 10 or Windows 11. I bought the device yesterday and I will receive it tomorrow.

According to this article it is equivalent/uses the same chip as the GT 1030 and that's if you get the 25w version, there's a lower powered 12.5w version
Don't expect to run new games, expect to run older titles 2020< on low settings and lower than 1080p

Thank you for your help, but what can you say about the material quality of this device. I will play CS2 LOL Valorant Forza Horizon 4 and GTA 5, how will it perform in these games and do I need to install Windows 10 or 11?

I think the X515 series only has one ram slot. He wont be able to go dual channel.
I could supplement 16 GB of RAM, sales representatives said

Best bet is to look on YouTube for someone with the laptop model, I'm betting there's likely a couple of videos that will show the gaming performance, and you can search mx330 CS2/GTA5 etc that will give you a somewhat decent idea of what to expect, I say keep your expectations low and anything more is a bonus

I mean 16GB is still better than 8GB but youre still held back by single channel memory. Had you been able to run dual channel, the extra bandwidth could have given you a 20% boost in a lot of games.

According to the ASUS specifications this laptop have 4GB solder memory plus 4GB sodimm in a slot in stock configuration.
It should have dual channel with that stock setup. But upgrading the replaceable memory would semi-disable that. It should be possible to install up to a 16GB sodimm in that single socket plus the 4GB onboard.
