How to check the standard and boost frequency of R9 280x card ?

I've recently bought a Sapphire R9 280x VaporX TriX with boost.
On the seller e-site, it is mentionned the standard frequency is 950Ghz and the boost Frequency is 1100 Ghz.
But when I check with GPU-Z or Trixx utility, they display only 1 frequency : 1050 Ghz.
How can I check and display both the real standard and boost frequency of my card ?

Thanks

You have to look very hard to find it. It's a re-branded 7970 without boost.

Edit: ups I'm wrong. Well my Asus 280x doesn't have any what I know off. It must be running at boost speed all the time.

Hi

Welcome to TPU

Open GPU-Z
Select: Sensors tab
Select: Log to file [choose location for file]
Run GPU-Z in background
Run a demanding 3d Game or benchmark
Then inspect the log file
or
Use MSI Afterburner to monitor while ingame
Example: here

Thank you for your answer : works great using 3Dmark and GPU-Z with log

So my card run at 300 Ghz in idle and 1050 Ghz in burn. Don’t really understand where is the boost as there is only one frequency in high.

Something also strange is that this model is not refrenced on Sapphire website: Should be 1100 GHz in burn

Is there somebody know where I can download the official bios corresponding to the official model referenced on Sapphire site ? as it is not available on techpower site :

VAPOR-X R9 280X 3GB GDDR5 TRI-X OC WITH BOOST (UEFI)

Or which bios editor can I use (compatible with boost function management) ?

Just use Trixx to increase the frequency on start up.

I've dowload my bios with GPU-Z to the Techpowerup database but unable to see it in the list ?

Wizzard has to verify all vbios images that are uploaded to the TPU database; from what I have read, there is a backlog at this time.

If you really feel have no choice but to flash

First: Make a backups of the original vbios image; use GPU-Z [**Keep a copy in a safe place]
Example:

Select: Bios Chip Icon
Select: Save to file [VbiosName].rom

Maybe able to use VBE7 here to edit a copy of the vbios image

Note: UEFI will be disabled [disabling UEFI effects Windows 8] if thinking of using windows 8.1 in future may be best to leave vbios image alone do not flash the vga card

Common Question
Will i be able to get working UEFI if i refrash with original vbios?
I do not know as I do not own a vga card with UEFI to see if this is possible.

Note: vga card has dual bios switch position #1 is *legacey vbios image [*flash] position #2 is **UEFI vbios image **[No-Flash]

[Best Practice: Uninstall Vga Card Drivers first and Flash at DOS prompt]
