How about a close up of a hardware part in a room at night with just the room light. (60w) So no direct light or sunlight coming through the windows. Reviews say it can be grainy in low light. Do you find this to be true? I need a camera but it needs to take good close up shots in weird lighting. I just don't have the $500+ to get a camera with a large sensor. Or if you have any recommendations I'm listening. I not real educated when it comes to cameras

Here are two quick shots. I admit, I don't have a room in the house that just has 60W of light However, this is from my desk which is kinda in a dark part of the basement, and it's night out so no extra sunlight. All I did was set the camera to macro mode and snapped these two, just making sure my hands were steady. The lighting in the pic is mostly from my LCD monitors. Yes, there is some noise that is clearly visible when you view the images full size, but if you are reposting them online you're going to resize and remove nearly all of it anyway.

TBH, I usually use a tripod and lots of light. For examples of that, check out the build logs in my sig. These were both photographed with this camera, and the only editing was to reduce the resolution to something more friendly to posting on these forums.

That's a damn sweet deal on the camera I have an FZ35 myself and it destroys normal point and shoots and was a great "bridge" to higher end cameras The zoom is impressive too

I watched a baseball game in Washington, DC a little over a year ago. I was in the bleachers by the outfield and was getting my zoom out so I could identify the players better during warm-ups
