New headphones

Looking for advice on a set of cans, I had a Sennheiser set that got broken. A set like HD569, I prefer closed back just for noise isolation and for use when flying so not everyone has to hear what I'm listening to. $100-300 is my budget, not something I need right this second, just looking for comparable cans to use with my Yeti, a decently long cord, over ear.

I’m a big audio technica fan. Might be something to look into, but I’m not a senn guy so I’m not sure what would compare.

Shure SRH840 and 440, AKG K371 and Audio-Technica M40x (yes, not the ubiquitous M50) are some of the decent options in this range.

I loved my AKG in ears, they were/are amazing, I just hate wearing them for very long, makes my ears hurt, usually only wear them when mowing/weed-eating/trimming trees etc instead of just earplugs. If their over ear are as good... damn

Well, tonality often differs between models and (obviously) comparing IEMs with full cans is an exercise in subjectivity. Can only say that the mentioned K371 are a fairly close to Harman tuning and are quite resolving overall for the price they usually go at. It’s probably the “safest” recommendation I can think of.
