Hi,

We have investigated a pool corruption issue that seem to be caused by the atitool.sys driver. The driver is reported to be using wcsrchr in it's DriverEntry on a string that is not null terminated. Somehow this leads to a couple of bytes being zeroed out in the name of another object (the driver name). We are seeing this in the Win 7 beta.
Neill.

Ati Tool is old and was last updated sometime back in 2006.
As such it cant be expected to function fully on the latest operating systems and hardware.

W1zzard the creator is currently working on a successor, but in the mean time please use something like Furmark or OCCT for stress testing, and then rivatuner or similar if you need a third party overclocking tool.
