RV770's going to have 800SP???

These guys in Chiphell say that RV770 will have 160*5D=800SP. And the TMU will be "at least" 32.

WOW, just imagine it!

The really exciting part is that they say RV770XT, which is equipped with GDDR5, will come to market around July.

I think it's really bad news for those who had just purchased 3870X2 or 9800GX2.

The answer is yes. The RV770 with unbelievable price will seriously pwn every GFX brand (nvidia,s3,and even onboard? LOL?) Around $500 I think. The core clocks will be above 1 GHz and the memory clocks will be above 3 GHz.

HOWEVER, seriously this rumour is false. The RV770XT apparently utilises a 512 bit bus.... (according to fudzilla who I believe now)

wow, you know if this was true I'd be so happy because it would mean that there was 160 complex shaders on the core with 640 simple shaders. Which is much more impressive than the 96 complex ones currently rumored.

That would definetly make more of a dent. But sigh it's probabally not true. oh well.
