What software are you using to monitor CPU temps during gaming session?

There seems to be a lot of options for Windows 11 when it comes to monitoring HW temps. However I have not found any that allow you to see the CPU temps while gaming. AMD Adrenaline only shows GPU temps and CPU utilization. Any suggestions?

A second monitor.
(Not being facetious. That is what I use, even for GPU temps. I used to have GPU-Z and/or CPU-Z running on a side monitor back when I was running Windows).

I believe MSI Afterburner (Rivatuner?) can show CPU temps on screen.

I also normally use a second monitor. MSI Afterburner's OSD was very useful. It does however cause some issues with Adrenaline tuning settings. That's why I stopped using it.
Nowadays, I just put hwinfo on second monitor and/or sometimes also use AMD's own OSD ingame. Hwinfo is great since it also records Max values and has generally more info as well.

In the best of both worlds though, you can technically set up Hwinfo with RTSS and let it show whatever you want on OSD. But it takes quiet some time to set up, and very tedious to work with so admittedly I gave up using that.

HWInfo, and you won't need to setup RTSS much longer, its getting it's own OSD soon (or now w/ Beta).

Msi afterburner works great for showing gpu and cpu temp while gaming. Testet on Windows 10, but i can not se it should not work on Windows 11 as well.

Here are two screen shot from my pc with MSI afterburner overlay. Enlarge image to se it more clearly as its a 4K screenshot. So not enlarge, text is small.
Here it shows overall cpu temp, core clock and wattage use. You can also set it up to show temp and core clock for each core. But i chose to not have that, as showing for all 16 cores becomes confusing while gaming.

Afterburner or Adrenalin as I see you're using a 6750 XT. One thing I've noticed on my 6600 XT and slower AMD GPUs is both overlays seem to make my GPU stutter a bit, especially at higher fps like in eSports titles. I don't remember if my 6700 XT did that as it's already in a system someone else is using but keeping the onscreen data to a minimum (only %GPU and Temp, %CPU and Temp) eliminates this on the 6600 XT.

on my second monitor I will occasionally run CPU-Z, GPU-Z, or HWinfo but for the most part I don't care. I see the fans spinning & everything works as it should, I assume all is well

I just let HWiNFO continue running (configured to autostart at login). My setup is configured to run a bunch of graphs: CPU & GPU temperatures, CPU & GPU power, system/motherboard temp, various fan speeds, sometimes VRAM or DRAM usage.

I won't look at PC hardware stats during gameplay though, too many other things to focus on.

I don't monitor temps while gaming. I have MSI Afterburner running in the background at all times, but I don't put any info on the screen nor do I have it open on the second monitor.

If I'm really curious I'll open up GPUZ and keep it up on the second monitor for GPU temps and I'll have CoreTemp open for the CPU. But that's rare that I do that. I know temps on the GPU never exceed 82C in all the games I've played and CPU temps never exceed 75C so I don't really bother checking.

I always having HWiNFO64 sensors mode running (at systray) when PC is on, and I reset values before entering game.
When finish playing and exit I quickly open the window in full screen, take a screenshot and paste it on paint. Then I have all the time to observe and evaluate any sensor (high, avg) I’m interested in.
Additionally my keyboard has a little screen and there I can load some software (like GPU-Z, HWiNFO) and have a few live values while I’m playing. It can be anything besides CPU/GPU temps.

I am pretty sure you can add that to the Overlay. AMD software even shows Frame time and 1% lows.

I use hwinfo64 but only when dialing in my fans, otherwise I only check temps when I get new hardware or stress test a new build to make sure all is well.

Benchmark Scores It's a form of exhibitionism...;-), but fun Software programs just have to run nicely....
I consider HWiNFO64 one of the best in regard to detailed information, but during computing/gaming the OSD of Adrenalin is a handy feature as well.
CPU-Z & GPU-Z are usefull utillities as well, don't know why but I use them less often.
On rare occasions I use MSI-center but mainly for easy acces to pump- and fanspeed settings less for hardware monitoring.

But mainly I just check my USB-C 3.5inch monitoring dash as it is easier and not distracting. However the corresponding software (Turxz) leaves much to be desired.

In the (near) future I may bite the bullet and invest in getting myself a GSkill WigiDash PC Command panel, seems it's price of around € 150 won't drop unfortunately.
That one seems to work with HWiNFO64 as well as AIDA64 and is an evolved product compared to other small secundairy monitoring sreens.
