Well, got a call this morning,Wednesday, at 6 am. Was asked to go into work for someone that called off. So, got up, after just a few hours of sleep, and got ready and hit the road. On the way home, anound 3:15-ish, I noticed my dash flashing, I needed fuel.

My plan for Wednesday was to get up, get fuel and hit the lakeside. At 3:15 I realized how wrong the day really was. I did make it to the gas station, the one with the ethanol free fuel, so that worked out. However, I was so worn out from lack of sleep, I went straight to bed for 40 minutes.

I forced myself out of bed but could not muster the motivation to go out to eat. Plus, it started to storm, lightning and downpour, by the time I had a small inkling of motivation. I eventually ordered a small bite to eat from Doordash. Now, I am going to get some aspirin, my nap got me a stiff neck, then off to bed.

ghost of tsushima runs so well on my pc, i mean i have aging gpu like 1050 ti which struggles in many newer titles but in this game official implementation of fsr3 seem to be helping the cause, i mean i don't see any noise like people complained about other games and it looks impressive at low settings offering stable 60fps.

It’s impressive considering the glut of unoptimized garbage that’s coming nowadays. To be fair though, it IS a PS4 title, so you’d expect it to scale down well.

i thought it was a ps5 title because my brother played it recently on his ps5, didn't knew it also released for ps4 before. I came to know about this game by watching him play.

Imagine a notification giving you PTSD because notifications can trigger driver timeouts with your Radeon GPU, and the only way to avoid is enable DND, however DND is broken and miss behaves so you have to disable automatically turning on DND, but then you forget and you get a driver time out, that is my Radeon Driver experience in a nutshell getting PTSD from issues that shouldn't be an issue.

But its a Windows issue not an AMD issue :D
Well the DND bug that is the driver timeouts get fixed eventually.
Also imagine crashing 3 times on same cutscene when doing a full playthrough of the last of us part 1 each time crashing on the same cutscene without a driver timeout just game crash.

Also - the game crash in the same place sounds like a Sony game bug? - I had that with HFW - had to Google and it involved going back a bit and saving from a different point.

Not for those prices, no. I could have made a case for the 5900XT as a “lots of cores for cheap” sorta deal for cash-strapped professionals, but that’s if it was 280 bucks, lower - even better. For 360 I am not convinced.

I went on a linux adventure setup everything and then go to play windows game and lmde-6-cinnamon-64bit doesnt have a proper driver. time to wipe and start over.

Honestly, at this point I’d just swallow my pride and run Ubuntu (or Mint, I suppose) if I was inclined to go Linux. It’s probably the most hassle-free out of the box experience one can get.

Yeah true, I was playing with a variant mint. Then tried normal builds and driver prompt pops up automatically and works. I like to play/test OS's.

OK, so it's Thursday, again. I am gonna go get some stuff from my PO box. Then ride to a lake and read, with the birds singing as background noise. After a while, couple chapters, I will hit up my fav spot for a late lunch/Dinner. After that? Hope that the Rangers can figure out the Florida Panthers, and WIN this series!

Tired of these Southern Teams going to the Stanley Cup Finals. Edmonton is now beating Dallas, so that is going OK, thus far. I am just hoping for an Edmonton, NY Rangers Final. Edmonton will showcase how much better the Western Conference is, over the Eastern Conference. But, it will still be a great series, the Rangers are very good.

PSA: If anyone is running Logitech Ghub and hasnt picked up the recent update... DONT. Something is very very wrong with the new Ghub software and its causing all sorts of trouble. Set your Ghub to not autoupdate if you havent done so already. The last update came out around 3-5 days ago and its messing a lotta things up.

@Onasi I honestly miss LGS. Yes it was old. It looked old but it was simple and straightforward to use. Then Logi acquired LOUPEDECK and other such companies that made stuff for streamers and wanted to integrate all that into one app (Ghub) which is when all the trouble began.

Since LGS was around for such an incredibly long time. I dont think Logi ever had a dedicated software guy or team on the payroll 24/7. LGS just never needed updating

@FreedomEclipse I noticed that too. Any time the company goes for “let’s make an app with everything in it” it inevitably becomes awful. Especially when all one needs from said app is just some basic functionality. Same energy as the current NVCP vs new NV app debate.

Logitech M575. What a game changer! for browsing and scrolling around. It is so much more comfortable and relaxing to use then sliding a mouse across a desk. Playing an MMO still feels weird though and

Well, yesterday I got my Jump starter/ Tire inflator. So, after waiting around for the delivery, got here around 2pm, I went and pumped up my tires. They needed it! Both were down 10 lbs!! The little thing-a-ma-job, worked flawlessly! Two tires inflated in minutes and it left me with 3 out of 4 bars on the battery!

I use NetLimiter as a 2nd firewall and I can see a lot of softwares want to access the net, every uninstallers (fuck that), even solo games for whatever reasons, legit paid games I mean. Just block everything you can if you think you are spied too much. Also, unbloat Windows, remove Copilot and stuff you don't want.

I don't let traffic going out if I don't know what it is and why it wants to go out. I use Copilot on Edge for lazy searches, I mainly use Firefox and duckduckgo + "privacy" extensions. If you don't trust what happens on your OS, fortify it, if you have sensitive data like confidential work stuff, work on it in a VM without network per example or even on another drive using dual boot.

I enjoyed those games a lot, the first more so than the second. Definitely prefer both to the Bethesda variants, though.

My username isn't half so thoughtful as that, though. I was trying to think of a good nickname, and the only thing that came to mind was a mental wasteland with no answers. lol
