All I can say is this PC has to be one of the best on here. That kit is just fantastic... near enough as high end as you can go. The watercooling modification is excellent and original, and aptly suits the speed-demon that your PC no doubt is.
Very neat cable routing and excellent toggle switches for the hard drives, excellent rig - a lot of care and thought clearly went into it.

Hey, that's a HD 2900 XT in there.

Is that a 512M or 1G version? If that's a 512M version, how do rate it against a 8800 GTS 640M? I'm planning for a new card for a new PC.

8/10 for the ALC 885, buy a hardware-accelerated sound card.

It's a waste buying another HD 2900 XT considering that you use a P35 based board. The second PCIe x16 slot on your board is electrically x4 (as fast as AGP 4X) so your second card will greatly underperform and it will also slow down your first card when doing load-balancing in Crossfire.

I'd have loved to see a DFI LanParty UT ICFX3200-T2R , the only Intel Core 2 Quad supportive board in existance that is based on the ATI RD600 chipset and gives both the video cards a full 16 lane bandwidth.

i agree with u another PCI-ex card now its waste money but X38 is coming and is x16 both PEG tks for u vote and in future i will add a sound card respected for this system but now im happy

Not bad, some pointless things were done though. The dip switches for sata drives are pointless as all you have to do is pull the power wire once disconnected via windows, a fan controller would have been a better option for that bay. Interior fans are lacking, especially on those dominators.

No overclocking mentioned, speeds, voltages, etc. Buying high end equipment and not overclocking is either laziness or ignorance. If you have overclocked please post your results.

The NOS theme is well thought out, but considering the modifications needed there are few pictures showing what exactly you did. I'm refering to the hose connections on the back of the case and the mounting of the radiator box. I love seeing other's handywork.

Finally I am not a fan of the stickers. The more stickers I see the more I think of Ricer's, all show no go. A few silkscreened decales are one thing but random stickers are something else in my opinion.

All in all 8/10.

Im using dipswitches for HD´s because this mobo suports hot plug SATA and Hot Swap HD and my system is very stable i dont need to overclock it and inside BIOS have a option to increase 1% ~ 25% all speed and more . All system auto overclock when i playing something so all the system is stable and dont need overclock it i only make 3 tests and disable it not necessary. I can send u pics of inside and detalied later. Stickers are cool in my opnion but its very particular of each person.

Its cool to see a overclocked system but in this case its not necessary and as u sad """Buying high end equipment and not overclocking is either laziness or ignorance""". First u need ask me and and before u need my answer and not write something like this.

Here we can write all things that we think, but somethimes need more pacience to think in how we writes and comments here.

Tks for the vote and coments bye!!! ;)

What I am saying is you have tons of potential sitting on your desk, and from the specs you probably have decent funding too. Your CPU is capable of 4.0ghz or more with very little tweaking, and 3.5 is more than easy with nothing more than a fsb setting. More performance is always welcome am I right?

You spent all of that money on getting a high end system, not overclocking to its true potential is a waste. You could have bought a G0 regular quadcore, cheaper ram, and saved probably $500us and get the exact same performance with a little overclocking. The extreme chips are the highest binned and therfore the farthest overclocking chips.

Ignorance and Laziness may ring offensive to you, but wasting hardware potential is offensive to me.

I agree more performance is better, and u sure i spent much money, here in Brazil hardwares costs 3 times more because taxes is very high.

I can overclock my pc but i dont see why, understand me, its cool see the pc at extreme potential i agree with u, my machine now its broken, maybe u dont know but P35 chipset´s are broken, in all mobo manufacturers!!! the Raid systems in all P35 chipsets dont work fine, belive me. My mobo now goes to change for another and perhaps i will change for a X-38, and now i will make a big overclock and if u wana see i can send u a snap but now with theses errors i lost 3HD and i dont have more my pc.

As u sad """but wasting hardware potential is offensive to me"""i agree but imagine wasting money with all this errors from Intel!!!!! its crazy

humm I heard it is better to install raid driver from Intel for atleast the Asus p35 boards instead of the ones that come with the Asus p5k premium.. have you tried getting the raid drivers from intel instead of using Gigabytes one?

yeah his quad could overclock alot, I think you should overclock some after you get the raid problem fixed.. if you cant fit it than maybe get a 150gb WD Raptor as your main drive? and have others for storage.

Im not a heavy overclocker but Im going to run my cpu @ 1.45volts since Im going water cooling and my temps should be good with that voltage.

(I just got some new parts in and my project will be/has started.. need to return a part of my case thats scratched though.. so hopefully I dont have to return the whole case).

edit: I also just bought a p5k x35 board. you might opt out of adding volts to your cpu because its hotter down there, but Im sure you can still get a decent OC with stock voltage without adding much heat on your voltage regulators. I dont go for big overclocks much just light ones :P no big voltages.

yes man i heard good things too but the error is here and now i dont have my pc, i spent much money as u sad and when i change my mobo i will make a big OC to celebrate and remenber i have a QX6850 and the multiplier is release so big FSB, big Multiplier and some Ram adjusts

ANS: I install Intel and Gigabyte i test both but errors continues and is a issue from intel, if u have time look in google for "RAID P35 issues"

ANS: Nice OC u did, in water i can OC much did u believe if i sad that i reache 1ºC with my system? here in Brazil the weater change all times in Winter i reache the 1ºC with water its prety crazy to see.

Yea man in Stock greats OC could be done because i use the multiplier of CPU and i OC the CPU and not the FSB of the CPU and in stock voltage.

Yeah? Why don't you put up pics of your rig and let us choose how your rig is not as crappy as this one. At least Neohazard made a decent attempt even when not living in the US, and paying more for the hardware than Americans do. Things are expensive in Brazil.

Be more polite in the future. Just because you don't like the work someone did doesn't mean you have to be a jerk. You could have just as easily said "I don't like the way it look" or, better yet, given a reason.
