  • nVidia geForce 8800GTS @ 600mhz/900mhz
  • ECS KN3 SLI2 mobo Nvidia nForce 590 SLI

Performed Mods:
Replaced Blue Orb with ASUS Silent Knight CPU cooler, Thermaltake north bridge cooler, some random fan speed controller i took from a buddy. Also replaced flat IDE with Round.
For some reason I am unable to edit my first entry so here it is again. This is pretty much the same system. I replaced the blue orb cuz one of the holes in the mounting bracket was stripped, also added northbridge cooler and cleaned up the wires a bit more.

7/10 from me.

Not keen on the green, the chassis and it's slightly too bright for me. Well done on the 10/10's though!

I do however like your OC and how tidy you've got it. Just the aesthetics that brings it down for me, still - 'outstanding' stuff!

Yeah it's good, but it's just not to my tastes. Not keen on the case. At least it's black!

I'm not insulting the specification/components. I'm just stating I dislike the green fan and the chassis. The overall aesthetics of the thing. I would love to have that specification, especially with that OC on the CPU. Good stuff!

Thanks guys
I really tryed my best and took my time (few hrs) working on the wire management. Right now im pretty satisfied with what i have.

The CPU cooler is ASUS Silent Knight, it runs about $65-$70 on Newegg.com but I bought mine at Frys for $65. Keeping my CPU @ 28C idle and 34C loading. I tryed the big Zalmen one and I didnt like how it looked mounted on an AMD also this one just feels a bit more solid.

You should state all of your comps specs, including case, psu, overclock etc.

Point the Silent Night exhaust out of your case?

I have the Silent Night in my case but I mounted it horizontally so that it "exhausts" to the left, out of the case. Did you not have room to do this or were you going more for the esthetics of the vertical orientation?

I have a AM2 socket so the mounting holes are rectangular so it only allowed me to mount it vertically =/.

Nice, like the colors. What did you use to paint your case?

I used Rust-Oleum gloss protective enamel. Its kinda tricky since its a gloss finish. Just gotta do one even coat and thats it. If you go over some parts more then others you get a weird grainy texture. I didnt bother using a clear coat over it just got some black turtle wax and polished it up. Almost gives it a black mirror look.

why the hell is your cpu cooler aimed vertically and not exhausting into the 120mm fan so strategically placed directly behind it? -_-

I already explained it a few posts up... AM2 mounting holes are in rectangle formation as appose to Intel holes are in square. So that motherboard only allowed me to mount it that way.

anywho ive already replace the mobo with ASUS m2n32-sli and the fan blows twards the rear of the case.

I just finished watching South Park, this thread reminded me "Operation Cannot Possibly Fail A Second Time". Interesting case, you should invite Lavar Burton over in full costume to monitor that warp core on top of your CPU.

Looks pretty good, wire management isn't totally perfect but its clean enough for me.

Always have enjoyed the blue green color scheme...

Ill give ya a solid 7.5/10

Im working on my Silverstone TJ07 right now just finished painting the case still waiting for a few other parts and painting those and getting my watercooling set up together. Its gonna be more of an aesthetics and easy on eyes then physical mod. Lots of tiny little details too.

Was this an answer to my question? So its safe to state that there is a 3rd attempt at second attempt then. I'll keep my radars on ;?

ATXscarfaceI voted 4/10 because:

Show some benchmarks, looks like a common modded case. Need more lighting internally to highlight hardware. Can barely see anything with the blue and green lights.
Seriously grow up. Not once did I EVER insult your work and what do you do... call mine a POS case.
