The Radeon HD 2600 PRO was a graphics card by ATI, launched on June 28th, 2007. Built on the 65 nm process, and based on the RV630 graphics processor, in its RV630 PRO variant, the card supports DirectX 10.0. Since Radeon HD 2600 PRO does not support DirectX 11 or DirectX 12, it might not be able to run all the latest games. The RV630 graphics processor is an average sized chip with a die area of 153 mm² and 390 million transistors. It features 120 shading units, 8 texture mapping units, and 4 ROPs. ATI has paired 256 MB DDR2 memory with the Radeon HD 2600 PRO, which are connected using a 128-bit memory interface. The GPU is operating at a frequency of 600 MHz, memory is running at 500 MHz.
Being a single-slot card, the ATI Radeon HD 2600 PRO does not require any additional power connector, its power draw is rated at 35 W maximum. Display outputs include: 2x DVI, 1x S-Video. Radeon HD 2600 PRO is connected to the rest of the system using a PCI-Express 1.0 x16 interface.
