AMD "Never Settle Reloaded" Bundle Bolstered by Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon

AMD made an addition to its "Never Settle Reloaded" game bundle. Everyone who has already redeemed "Never Settle Reloaded" for their AMD Radeon products, will receive keys to activate Ubisoft's newest FPS title, FarCry 3: Blood Dragon, by e-mail. Those with unused coupons will automatically receive the game, when the coupons are redeemed. They keys will be given out by May 1st.

Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon is a standalone game, and an expansion pack in-principle to Far Cry 3. You don't need to own the original to play Blood Dragon. It gives you a single-player campaign that's completely set apart from the Far Cry universe, and features a retro-futuristic, exploitative B-movie setting, which is interesting and never tried out by a game studio in the last decade. A little earlier this month, AMD vice-president Roy Taylor announced that Battlefield 4 will be part of the company's next "Never Settle" bundle.

For me it's the other way around, I bought a coupon with Crysis3 and Bioshock Infinite. This should be a nice bonus.

This tells me nothing, other than its to do with the reloaded bundle. It does not state whether the previous bundle is included for this promotion. Though I got FarCry 3 with the previous bundle twice.

I'm fairly certain the email the keys were sent to in the first place get the additional key, not the person the key was sold to.

I received the mail directly from AMD based on an AMD bundle code (which I bought) redeemed to my e-mail address. So, if they will make this gift (It's a good question if it applies to already redeemed bundle codes or just new ones) I'm pretty sure I'll receive a key.

Nice.
On the AMD forums it says to thank loyal customers. I hope they are including the original 7xxx series buyers who got the first never settle bundle with Hitman etc. Otherwise I'm going to be pissed and raise hell with them.

Only applies to the buyers who bought cards when the Never Settle Reloaded bundle was/is still applicable. The first bundle was done months ago anyway.

So AMD saying "to thank our loyal customers" on the forum post, in no way applies to customers who bought this generation of cards in the first instance.
As i said, there will be hell to pay.

OK, after watching the vid I see the FC3 connection. I wouldn't mind getting this... for free. IDK if I will pay the $15 Steam is asking for it.

I sold the keys individually, which means i got the keys sent to my mail first.

This will not be available to any other people who purchased cards with the older bundles. I messaged the AMD moderators and they said it does not come with any version other than the newest set of bundles. I have just asked as to why they are thanking the loyalty of only their most recent customers, and not the people who bought the cards earlier than this, as in their forum they clearly state that providing this game free with the bundle is to thank customers for their loyalty in purchasing AMD cards.
Can't say i agree with their poor choice of words.

Yea, right now there's only the "Never Settle" and the "Never Settle Reloaded" bundles. If you have the "Never Settle Reloaded" you'll be email the code for this game. :toast:

Figures I'm in the "never settle"lot. My keys were sent only 100 days ago. Grandfathering us in is out of the question because it was so long ago? I wanted the card and didn't care about the games but why exclude us because we didn't buy yesterday.

Exactly my point, I find it offensive they are labeling this as thanking their customers for loyalty, and are pushing out the people who bought the cards before a bundle with a slightly different name long before the rest.
That's not rewarding loyalty, that's ignoring your current customers, and making a desperate attempt to get more. I wouldnt mind so much if they merely changed the bundle and offered it only to new purchases. Offering it to previous purchases but not quite long ago purchases is just... bad business.

... and what about us early adopters that bought over a year ago?

How far back should they go to be fair?

I think it is pretty cool that AMD is doing all of this. I don't think it is cool to bash AMD for excluding the Never Settle 1st round customers (like me). AMD is giving away mass amounts of game title with the recent programs. At AMD Fan Day they recently gave away 1000 A8 5600K APU's ($100-$110 each), among other hardware. AMD has been kicking down big time for their customers. Good on AMD!
