Bose Introduces the SoundLink Max

Today, Bose is turning up the volume on its acclaimed SoundLink Bluetooth speaker line with the introduction of the SoundLink Max Portable Speaker. This all-new portable speaker has lasting power, rugged durability, and delivers incredible sound for its size. Now you can set the vibe with your favorite playlist no matter where you go. The SoundLink Max will be available on May 16th for $399 and can be pre-ordered starting today on Bose.com.

Big Speaker Sound That Wows
The SoundLink Max leverages decades of Bose research in acoustics to deliver incredible performance for your music that will help get the party started and keep it going. The system leverages a Bose Articulated Array with three transducers across the front of the speaker to deliver a spacious stereo experience that goes beyond the speaker itself. Two custom-designed passive radiators are responsible for providing a level of bass performance that also defies the speaker size. Using technology found in Bose soundbars and proprietary digital signal processing that dramatically minimizes distortion, the speaker reproduces full, natural sound regardless of what you're listening to. The result is a system that allows you to hear every instrument, clear vocals, and the beat of your music, no matter where you're listening or where the speaker is placed.

Bose Introduces the Soundlink Flex

Today, Bose welcomes a new addition to its iconic SoundLink Bluetooth speaker family: the SoundLink Flex. The Flex delivers the best audio performance for a portable speaker its size in an all-new, grabbable, and ultra-rugged design. It is packed with exclusive Bose technologies to deliver deep, clear sound that's powerful enough to fill your living room while entertaining, and loud enough for any outdoor adventure. It adds proprietary Bose PositionIQ technology to automatically detect the speaker's orientation, so whether upright, hanging, or flat on its back, the speaker is optimized to deliver rich, lifelike sound. Its IP67 waterproof and dustproof rating combines with up to 12 hours of battery life to make it a tough, portable workhorse. The SoundLink Flex is available starting today for $149 at Bose.com.

The Flex uses every fraction of an inch of its enclosure to deliver astonishing audio performance. A custom transducer - as big as could fit - maximizes clarity so you can hear each instrument and vocal, and delivers bass that you can feel in your chest. It combines with dual-opposing passive radiators, which brilliantly turn vibration into powerful audio output from the compact speaker. Bose proprietary digital signal processing (DSP) technology dramatically minimizes distortion so you hear natural, full sound.

Bose Introduces the World's First Audio Augmented Reality Platform

This week at SXSW, Bose introduces Bose AR, the world's first audio augmented reality platform, and glasses to hear- a Bose AR prototype that launches the future of mobile sound. Bose also announces its SDK schedule date for developers, manufacturers, and research institutions, along with collaborations currently under way, and venture funding for related start-ups.

Unlike other augmented reality products and platforms, Bose AR doesn't change what you see, but knows what you're looking at- without an integrated lens or phone camera. And rather than superimposing visual objects on the real world, Bose AR adds an audible layer of information and experiences, making every day better, easier, more meaningful, and more productive.

Bose Introduces the QuietComfort 25 Acoustic Noise Cancelling Headphones

Today, Bose introduces the QuietComfort 25 Acoustic Noise Cancelling headphones, the next generation of its category-defining QuietComfort headphones. The new QuietComfort 25 headphones feature an entirely new design, combining better noise reduction and audio performance with a stunning new look and greater portability. They replace the legendary QC15 headphones and will be available beginning September 3, 2014.

"The QuietComfort 25 headphones set a new standard for performance," said Sean Garrett, vice president of the Bose Noise Reduction Technology Group. "We improved nearly every dimension -- greater noise reduction, lifelike audio, a striking new profile and styles, and a new earcup pivot to fold up smaller than ever. We weren't going to replace the QC15 headphones unless we had something that was better and different -- and the QC25 is both."
