To celebrate the 30th anniversary of one of the world's most popular video game series of all time, Capcom has announced the ultimate tribute to the Street Fighter arcade legacy in the Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and Windows PC coming in May 2018. The collection highlights the series' past in this anthology of 12 iconic titles with arcade-perfect balancing, including the original Street Fighter, Street Fighter II, Street Fighter II: Champion Edition, Street Fighter II: Hyper Fighting, Super Street Fighter II, Super Street Fighter II: Turbo, Street Fighter Alpha, Street Fighter Alpha 2, Street Fighter Alpha 3, Street Fighter III, Street Fighter III: 2nd Impact and Street Fighter III: Third Strike.

Players will be able to take the fight online in four of the classic titles for even more gameplay options, including Street Fighter II: Hyper Fighting, Super Street Fighter II: Turbo, Street Fighter Alpha 3 and Street Fighter III: Third Strike. Players can recreate the classic arcade gaming experience by competing against the CPU while waiting for friends in online battles where they can put their fighting skills to the ultimate test. Lobbies support up to four players waiting to climb up the ranks through Ranked Matches. Each title will also have their own Global leaderboards and the "rewind" tech ensures low-latency online battles.

A user by the name of 'Son of Sparda' posted a huge leak about Hideaki Itsuno's upcoming Devil May Cry 5 game for Capcom. The thread was created on the ResetEra forums yesterday and contains a lot of intriguing details and potential spoilers about the game. As Devil May Cry fans might know, this marks the fifth installment in the popular hack and slash franchise. Internally, the developers have bauztized the project as "Devil May Cry V". It appears that Capcom will drop the standard numeric system in favor of Roman numerals. We witnessed a similar trend with the Metal Gear Solid series when the fifth game was released as Metal Gear Solid V instead of Metal Gear Solid 5 like the previous four installments.

Japanese developer and publisher Capcom has publicized that the PC version of their anticipated Resident Evil 7 game will support up to 4K resolutions and HDR. Naturally HDR will remain dependent on being connected to a compatible TV or panel, whereas high resolution support could provide additional levels of image quality through the use of super sampling on screens that do not support such resolutions natively. It is said that HDR will complement the immersive experience, better enabling the game to deliver overwhelming fear and ultimate horror.

As previously revealed by Capcom, Resident Evil 7 will also support cross saves between the PC and Xbox One versions of the game, however this will only be possible if you purchase it for PC on the Windows Store. Resident Evil 7 is also available on Steam and this version will not support cross saving. Resident Evil 7 will be available for PC on the 25 January, 2017.

NVIDIA today released its latest GeForce "Game Ready" drivers. Version 361.91 WHQL drivers come ready for "Street Fighter V," including game optimizations, and optimal settings for GeForce Experience. Capcom's latest arena fight simulator will take advantage of GeForce features such as Dynamic Super Resolution (DSR). GeForce 361.91 also includes a fix for the "Unplug GeForce GPU" bug introduced with the previous driver, which exposed your GeForce GPUs as removable devices in the system tray. Capcom unveiled the third installment to the Lost Planet third-person shooter franchise. Lost Planet 3 is technically a prequel to the other two games, which sees the protagonist Jim arrive on the planet Edn III to explore T-ENG (thermal energy), an elusive energy resource, with hopes that it would get him some cash for his family back home. Lost Planet 3 is a return to the extreme environments found in the first installment. UK retail chain GAME, which sells well - games and gaming hardware, with presence in the UK, several European countries, and Australia, filed for administration. The retail chain has been seeing a few harsh months, it was unable to strike distribution deals with Capcom and EA, which contributed to a drop in its share value on the London Stock Exchange.

In a press-release dated today, GAME says "Further to this morning's announcement of the suspension of trading in shares of GAME Group plc, the board has concluded that its discussions with all stakeholders and other parties have not made sufficient progress in the time available to offer a realistic prospect for a solvent solution for the business. The board has therefore today filed a notice of intention to appoint an administrator. In the short term the Board's intention is that the business will continue to trade and discussions with lenders and third parties will continue under the protection of the interim moratorium."

According to Shacknews, PC gamers will be blessed with another incarnation of the Resident Evil franchise this May 18th. In typical Capcom fashion the console versions will be out a few months earlier on March 20th. Those who wait for the PC version will get increased visual fidelity and NVIDIA 3D Vision support, so you can weigh your options accordingly. ORC features a four-player campaign and eight-player online team battles in the middle of the titular city. Capcom has no plans to release a demo of the game. For canon nerds, it does take place between the second and third games, but Capcom is careful not to put too fine a point on that. Producer Masachika Kawata recently called it a "world of what-ifs," so the publisher clearly isn't ready to put this stake in the ground as an official part of Resident Evil's history. No word of a PC benchmark as of yet.

With more than 9.3 million registered users and partnerships now with 21 different publishers, Origin, the direct-to-consumer gaming platform from Electronic Arts (EA) Inc. (NASDAQ:EA) has quickly become one of the industry's leading online game services in just over two quarters since launch.

Origin announced today that seven more publishers have agreed to offer their games for purchase and download. Led by Remedy Entertainment who will bring Alan Wake to Origin, additional publishers include Focus Home Interactive, Iceberg Interactive, Strategy First, Macro Games, Selectsoft and Legendo Entertainment. These publishers join 14 previously announced Origin partners, including Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, THQ, Capcom, Trion Worlds and Robot Entertainment.

Patriot Memory, a global pioneer in high-performance memory, NAND flash and computer technology, today announced an exclusive licensing agreement with Capcom, granting rights to manufacture and market 'Capcom Action Packs,' Patriot products bundled with the PC software title Street Fighter IV.

Patriot has set up an innovative campaign that packages Patriot products with a downloadable version of Capcom's Street Fighter IV for the PC. The Street Fighter series burst onto the scene in the late 80s and gained worldwide attention with the arcade game Street Fighter II. Patriot has packaged Street Fighter IV with several of their top products: 32GB Xporter Boost, their complete Torqx SSD series, and three of their top gaming modules for both DDR2 and DDR3.

Starting from next month, Microsoft's award-wining entertainment console, the Xbox 360 will be sold in red color. That's of course a limited version, created to debut along with Capcom's survival horror Resident Evil 5. The bundle will include a red Xbox 360 Elite, single wireless controller also painted in red, a 120 GB hard drive, Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix, exclusive Resident Evil Premium Theme, Xbox 360 black wired headset, HDTV-ready component HD AV, HDMI and Ethernet cables. All this will be yours for $399. The bundle will be available for the March 13 release of Resident Evil 5.

Sony and Capcom are teaming up for the release of Devil May Cry 4 by announcing two limited edition PlayStation 3 bundles for Japan. Available in both black and ceramic white, the 40GB PlayStation 3 will come with a copy of the game and extra content on a separate Blu-ray disc. The bundle will retail for JPY 47,800 ($422) when it's released on January 21.

Game publisher Capcom and movie maker Sony Pictures Entertainment have teamed up to produce three live-action films based on the Resident Evil games, each more successful than the last at the US box office. The pair today announced that they are teaming up once again, this time on a full-length, computer-animated Resident Evil feature. The film will be titled Biohazard: Degeneration (Biohazard is the Japanese name of the Resident Evil series), and will introduce a new storyline within the series' universe. Beyond that, the only detail released about the feature is that it will be released next year. The companies didn't specify if that release will be theatrical or straight-to-DVD, although game-based CG films have taken both routes in the past. Capcom has a number of film projects currently in the works. The company is collaborating with Hyde Park Entertainment on a new Street Fighter movie featuring Chun Li as the central character. The film rights to Onimusha and Devil May Cry have also been sold by the company.

CAPCOM is about to release a few updates for Lost Planet on August the 16th. Two of these updates have been known for a while, but now it seems that two more updates are also being added. One of them is called enhanced DX10 depth of field. Which will give you a better illusion of depth perception. The second update is a new default messages system that will be added for multiplayer, lobby, and after a match.

Japanese developer and publisher Capcom has announced it will begin selling its titles through Valve's PC digital distribution platform Steam. Today's announcement marks the latest of Capcom's efforts to support the PC, which include upcoming ports of the former Xbox 360 exclusive Lost Planet: Extreme Condition as well as Devil May Cry 4. Capcom's Steam offerings will begin later this week with the release of Devil May Cry 3: Special Edition, which originally appeared on PlayStation 2 and was only recently released on the PC. A PC version of Onimusha 3, which also appeared on PlayStation 2, will arrive in the following weeks, with Lost Planet: Extreme Condition arriving on Steam the same day it hits retail, June 26. No mention was made of the recently released PC version of Resident Evil 4.

While the game has already shipped more than one million units worldwide on the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, this PC version features PC-specific enhancements.
