FSP Aurum 92+ Modular PSUs Unveiled

Fortron's channel brand FSP unveiled its Aurum 92+ line of modular PSUs. The 80 Plus Platinum compliant power-boxes will initially ship in two mid-range capacities, 550W (PT-550M) and 650W (PT-650M). The two feature Fortron's innovative FSPMIA-IC, a single chip that integrates various voltage regulation and protection functions, minimizing clutter on the PCB. Both models use a quad-rail technology, with four 18A +12V rails. The company's HybridSynergy technology allows load to be spread across the four rails. Most common protection features are covered. The two feature partially modular cabling, with the 24-pin ATX, 8-pin EPS, and a PCIe connector being fixed, while the SATA/Molex connectors and a second set of PCIe cables are modular. The two will reach stores some time in February.

FSP Announces Raider Series PSUs

FSP, the global leading manufacturer in superior power supply units, introduces this season its Raider Series. In order to keep pace with the recent developments in the field and to meet market demand, it comes with a single +12V rail, SATA array cable design and is certified with 80 PLUS bronze. Furthermore, efforts were also made for more quiet operation, which keeps the noise level <19 dBA at 50% load. With a full set of connectors, such as the multiple PCI-E 6+2 PIN connectors for all mainstream graphics cards, RAIDER is certainly the best choice for gamers and hardware enthusiasts.

FSP Launches Aurum PRO Series PSUs

FSP, a worldwide leader in power supply products, today announced the launch of AURUM PRO power supply unit (PSU), the latest award-winning high-quality, high wattage PSUs. AURUM PRO series has been designed to meet the demanding requirements of PC enthusiasts such as overclockers and multi-GPU gamers.

The AURUM PRO is built by using industrial-grade components and main Japanese capacitors to provide the pure, clean, stable output. With qualified 80PLUS Gold certification, the AURUM PRO comes with dual transformers matrix design to provide up to 90% efficiency and +12V single rail capable of delivering 100A (1200W). This makes it ideal for any kind of CPU/GPU combination like SLI/Crossfire with Intel Core i7-series processors which require high amounts of stable power at 12V.

FSP Readies Two New BlueStorm Classic Entry-Level PSUs

FSP, the channel brand of PSU OEM Fortron Source, is working on two new entry-level PSUs for gaming PCs, under its BlueStorm Classic series. These include the BlueStorm Classic 450W, and BlueStorm Classic 550W. Pictured below, these PSUs feature sporty-looking chassis. They feature active PFC, dual-forward switching topology, 'assured' efficiency of over 85% (although not 80 PLUS-certified), and mild blue lighting (although not the fan). The hexagonal fan inlet opens into a 120 mm temperature-controlled spinner. The PSUs feature fixed, sleeved cabling, with enough connections for a modern single graphics card gaming PC. More details are awaited.

FSP Group Unveils Aurum Series 80Plus Gold Certified PSUs

FSP Group, a channel brand distributor of reputed PC and server power supply manufacturer Fortron, unveiled its latest line of high-efficiency PSUs for PC enthusiasts. Named FSP Aurum (Latin for Gold), the PSUs are 80Plus Gold certified, with over 90 percent efficiency at all times. The first wave of Aurum series will consist of 400W, 500W, 600W, and 700W models. The PSUs use granite-touch casing which is starting to get common with high-end PSUs from manufacturers such as Enermax, Cougar, Cooler Master, etc.

The 400W and 500W models feature a double "Hybrid Synergy" 12V rail design, while the 600W and 700W ones feature a quad-rail design. A "Multiple Intelligence Ability" (MIA) chip keeps control over various performance and protection functions. The PSUs use high-grade Japanese capacitors to contribute to the efficiency. The PSUs are ATX12V v2.3 & EPS12V v2.92 compliant. A 120 mm fluid dynamic bearing fan keeps the units cool. The PSUs will be backed by a 5-year warranty. The FSP Aurum series will be officially released at the upcoming CeBIT event in early March.
