Microsoft Unveils Company's Thinnest Bluetooth Mobile Keyboard 6000

Microsoft Corp. today announced its thinnest keyboard ever - the Bluetooth Mobile Keyboard 6000 - made exclusively for Bluetooth notebook and desktop computers. Projections show that over 55 percent of notebook PCs will ship with Bluetooth by the end of 2010. With mobile PCs getting more compact, the Microsoft Hardware team created the Bluetooth Mobile Keyboard 6000 to address consumers' need for comfortable and portable computing accessories.

Alienware Rolls Out TactX Gaming Keyboard and Mouse

Gaming PC specialist Alienware took its first step into the gaming peripherals market with the TactX keyboard and mouse. RAZER Admits Lycosa Keyboards Manufacturing Defects, Offers Free Replacement

PC gaming peripherals specialist RAZER, long after releasing the Lycosa illuminated gaming keyboard, has come to admit that a small percentage of its customers may have received products with manufacturing defects. The company zeroed in on serial number ranges belonging to some its earlier manufacturing batches.

Lycosa keyboards with serial numbers starting with MT0803, MT0802, MT0801 and MT07 are affected with certain issues as described in several complaints the company received from its customers and retailers. A rival of Art Lebedev is approaching. Logitech Prepares New G18 Gaming Keyboard to Accompany G13

OCZ Elixir II in Pretty Pixels

It was the beginning of July when the first Elixir keyboard from OCZ saw daylight and not long after that rumours about a second version of it started spreading. Now these rumours have been confirmed by our collegues from Fudzilla. A second keyboard named Elixir II is indeed going to be released sometime before Christmas. It will have a slim design with blue painted border lines and rubberized coated "SoftTouch" keys with a lifespan of 5 million cycles. OCZ Elixir II will weight around 600g (1.35lbs) and have only three extra keys - Internet, Email and System Power-down - in contrast to the original OCZ Elixir which has 10 tri-mode programmable macro keys. According to Fudzilla the keyboard will cost around €20-€30 and maybe even cheaper when released.
