NVIDIA today announced that a range of NVIDIA Quadro professional graphics solutions are certified by Adobe for Adobe Creative Suite 5 software, and truly unleash the real-time video editing and effects processing capabilities of Adobe Premiere Pro CS5.

This breakthrough version of Adobe Premiere Pro leverages the parallel processing architecture of NVIDIA GPUs and their hundreds of cores to allow film and video professionals to work unconstrained. New NVIDIA GPU-Accelerated Plugins Dramatically Boost Performance for Adobe CS4 Users

PNY Releases Quadro FX 4800 and Quadro FX 5800 Professional Graphics Accelerators

PNY Technologies today announced the availability of two high-end professional graphics accelerators based on the NVIDIA Quadro FX 5800 and Quadro FX 4800 GPUs. The two are based on the GT200 architecture. The Quadro FX 5800 features 240 shader units (dubbed CUDA programmable parallel cores) and 4 GB of GDDR3 memory, while the FX 4800 features 192 shader cores with 1.5 GB of GDDR3 memory.

The amount of visual computing power at its disposal allows deployment in computing areas of oil and natural gas exploration, medical imagery, scientific visualisation, and engineering and design.
