Here are the final specifications of the Radeon RX 7600 RDNA3 graphics card, bound for launch later this month. The specs list springs up some surprises. To begin with, while the GPU at the heart of the RX 7600 is based on the latest RDNA3 graphics architecture, it is built on the older 6 nm (DUV) silicon fabrication process—the same one on which the previous "Navi 24" was based. The silicon has a transistor count of 13.3 billion, about 2 billion more than the 7 nm "Navi 23" Powering the RX 6600 series, but a die-size of 204 mm². The GPU has a PCI-Express 4.0 x8 host interface, and a 128-bit GDDR6 memory interface. As the RX 7600, it has a TBP (total board power) value of 165 W, which is over 30 W more than the RX 6600.

At this point, it's not known whether the RX 7600 maxes out the silicon it is based on. It gets 32 RDNA3 compute units (CU), which work out to 2,048 stream processors (with the same dual-issue instruction rate feature as the RX 7900 series); 32 Ray Accelerators, and 64 AI Accelerators. The GPU has 128 TMUs, and 64 ROPs. The GPU has 32 MB of second-generation Infinity Cache memory. The 8 GB of GDDR6 memory ticks at 18 Gbps, which over the 128-bit memory bus works out to 288 GB/s of memory bandwidth. AMD claims that when coupled with the on-die cache, the "effective bandwidth" is 476.9 GB/s. NVIDIA is putting out similar "effective" figures for its RTX 4060 series, so this could become a norm. The RX 7600 comes with a game frequency of 2250 MHz, and 2625 MHz boost. AMD is making 550 W as its PSU recommendation, compared to the 450 W it did for the RX 6600. The company considers the RX 7600 to be the logical successor of the RX 6600 (and neither the RX 6600 XT nor the RX 6650 XT).

Some retailers/e-tailers are jumping the gun and listing the upcoming Radeon RX 7600 graphics cards, and the latest one shows custom versions from XFX and Gigabyte, priced between CAD $409.99 and CAD $425.00. This puts them in line with the previously rumored USD $299 price tag for the Radeon RX 7600.

Although the listings from Canadacomputers.com were removed, the information was leaked, and it gives us a general idea about the price of the Radeon RX 7600. Such pricing would put the Radeon RX 7600 in direct competition with the upcoming NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 non-Ti, scheduled to launch in July. AMD has yet to officially announced the Radeon RX 7600 graphics card, but we expect it to happen pretty soon, considering the rumored May 25th launch date.

We have seen a few examples of custom design/board partner Radeon RX 7600 graphics card models via leaks over the past two weeks - and AMD's alleged reference design has made an appearance this weekend, only fours days prior to the official product launch date (May 25). The leaked images once again come courtesy of VideoCardz - the set of two photos show a dual-fan setup on a mostly black shroud with the company's simple "Radeon" logo positioned near the top - this design seems to be missing an underlining strip of RGB (as seen on the big boy cards).

The picture of the card's flipside depicts a very plain looking backplate. The overall aesthetic is not too far removed from the existing high-end Radeon RX 7900 XT and 7900 XTX reference siblings, although this leaked entry-level offering is tiny in comparison - it is reported to be just under 21 centimeters in length (versus the 7900 XT at 27.6 cm and 7900 XTX at 28.7 cm). The RX 7600 MBA (made-by-AMD) card is said to be two slots wide.

VideoCardz seems to be getting the scoop on all sorts of custom design Radeon RX 7600 graphics cards - this weekend it revealed factory overclocked models from ASRock and ASUS, only a couple of days prior to the expected product launch. The hardware news site was tipped off to the presence of boxed Sapphire PULSE cards sitting in an unnamed retail store's stockroom almost two weeks ago, and photos of actual hardware emerged two days later.

From the looks of things, Sapphire has chosen to update its dual-fan PULSE card design for the new Radeon GPU generation, but ASRock and ASUS have taken the easier path - the latest photo leaks indicate that both companies have opted to reuse cooling solutions from their older RDNA2 models. ASRock is reintroducing the Phantom Gaming OC and Challenger OC card designs as part of its RX 7600 GPU lineup, and ASUS is recycling its ROG STRIX and Dual cooler designs - these were previously slapped onto their Radeon RX 6650 XT offerings (launched back in 2022).

AMD Radeon RX 7600 GPU-related leaks continue to trickle out as we get closer to the late May launch window, when AMD's entry-level model is predicted to take on the upcoming NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 graphics card. Details of Sapphire and MSI RX 7600 (non-XT) custom cards have appeared online over the past week and a half, with basic GPU specifications spotted on retail packaging. VideoCardz has received yet another tip-off and has today released a screenshot from a GPU-Z session. We cannot confirm the accuracy of the specs due to our own NDA with AMD, but we can confirm that GPU-Z since version 2.53.0 does have early support the Navi 33 GPU.

The listed details of a "Navi 33 XL GPU" correlate with leaked information from the past week or two, confirming the presence of 32 Compute Units and 2048 Stream Processors. The standard allocation of 8 GB GDDR6 memory is verified once more, complete with a 128-bit wide memory interface. VideoCardz notes that the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti is quite similar in terms of memory technicalities - with a maximum bandwidth of 288 GB/s (Gen 4 PCIe interface restricted to 8 lanes). GPU-Z states that the Navi 33 XL/RX 7600 GPU has the following core clock speeds: 1720 MHz (base), 2250 MHz (performance game mode) and 2655 MHz (boosted) - tipsters have suggested that the chip is capable of hitting a maximum threshold of 2850 MHz.

According to the latest rumor, the upcoming NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Ti could be priced at $399 for the 8 GB and $499 for the 16 GB version. As rumored earlier, the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 8 GB version is scheduled to launch on May 24th, while the 16 GB version will be launching in late July. The latest rumor comes from MEGAsizeGPU over at Twitter, who has a pretty good record when it comes to leaks, and was actually the first to leak the launch dates.

At $399, the RTX 4060 Ti 8 GB has the same launch price as the RTX 3060 Ti, back in December 2020. As said, the RTX 4060 Ti 8 GB is rumored to launch on May 24th. AMD is also rumored to lift the review embargo for the Radeon RX 7600 graphics card on the same day, with availability expected on May 25th, so it will be an interesting battle for the mid-range market. At $499, the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 16 GB version sounds a bit overpriced, and it will make it $100 cheaper than the GeForce RTX 4070. In the meantime, MSI RTX 4060 Ti Ventus 3X graphics card has been leaked by a French retailer, showing the card in its full glory. Unfortunately, the price was put just as a placeholder, so we do not have a lot more details. While the listing was removed in the meantime, Videocardz snatched a screenshot.

Listings for two custom AMD Radeon RX 7600 GPUs have appeared on PC Canada's webstore, according to VideoCardz - who were notified by keen-eyed locals from the Great White North. The online electronics seller has likely created these page entries by mistake - the information on hand is not exactly refined, indicating that the temporary text has come straight from hardware distributors - Althon Micro is Sapphire's chosen distribution and support partner for North American territories.

The prematurely published pages show that the Sapphire Pulse and MSI Mech 2X Classic models are both overclocked and specced with 8 GB of GDDR6 memory. The custom graphics cards are not ready to purchase, as expected, with an indication of zero units being in-stock. At the time of writing, PC Canada has the Sapphire RX 7600 PULSE OC listed at $335.80 (451.99 CAD), and the MSI Mech 2X RX 7600 at $329.85 (443.99 CAD). These prices are subject to change, given that the information presented seems to have originated from placeholder sources.

VideoCardz received a tip on Tuesday about a stack of products sitting in a retail store located somewhere in Asia - an insider source had taken photos of several boxes, weeks ahead of the rumored May 25 hardware launch. A brave seller on Singapore's Carousell online marketplace listed a number of Sapphire Radeon RX 7600 PULSE cards on the site, but these pages were swiftly taken down by admin. Specifications printed on outer packaging revealed that this GPU model packs 8 GB of VRAM and 32 RDNA3 CUs - indicating a full configuration of AMD's Navi 33 GPU die.

The embargo has been broken once again - earlier today VideoCardz published leaked images of the card itself (out of the box). The photos seem to be of official origin - perhaps destined for product pages on Sapphire's website(s) or online retail listings. A new PULSE custom cooling solution is on view - revealing a dual-fan and dual-slot design with a largely black cooler, accented with red markings plus a bit of white lettering. The shroud seems to lack any integrated RGB lighting zones or strips. An 8-pin power connector is present, possibly indicating that the custom card only requires 150 W (8-pin) + 75 W (PCIe) or more in operational power.

The other RDNA3 feature referenced is the Radiance Display Engine, which supports the latest DisplayPort 2.1 and HDMI 2.1a outputs, along with 12 bpc color, and support for resolutions as high as 4K 180 Hz with a single cable. Apparently, the GPU that the RX 7600 is based on has 32 MB of Infinity Cache memory, which is the same amount as the previous-generation "Navi 23" silicon powering the RX 6600 series. For the flagship "Navi 31," the Infinity Cache memory size is generationally reduced to 96 MB (from 128 MB on "Navi 21,") because the memory bus width has generationally increased to 384-bit (from 256-bit). This could mean that the RX 7600 has a 128-bit wide memory bus, given that its Infinity Cache size is unchanged from that of the RX 6600 series.

A more detailed launch schedule for both the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 lineup and AMD Radeon RX 7600 has now surfaced online, suggesting that NVIDIA could launch the first RTX 4060 Ti 8 GB on May 24th, a day before the AMD Radeon RX 7600, making it a rather busy week for reviewers.

Videocardz managed to confirm that NVIDIA plans to announce all three RTX 4060 series SKUs in mid-May, but only the RTX 4060 Ti 8 GB will actually launch in May. The current schedule puts the RTX 4060 Ti 16 GB for the second half of July, and the RTX 4060 8 GB for the first half of July. Interestingly, the rumored date for AMD Radeon RX 7600 8 GB graphics card is set for May 25th, just a day after NVIDIA's scheduled launch. Of course, these dates are not carved in stone and both AMD and NVIDIA could easily change them. Hopefully, we'll hear more as we draw closer to the end of this month.

VideoCardz has today received a tip-off from an anonymous source about a batch of Sapphire Radeon RX 7600 PULSE graphics cards - boxed products have been photographed sitting in a hardware store located "somewhere" in Asia. It is not immediately clear whether the Sapphire cards were pictured in a store-front setting, or an employee has taken a snap of stock stored in a backroom and shared it with their internet buddies. Previous leaks relating to AMD Radeon RX 7600 and 7600 XT cards have pointed to a May 25 launch day - so today's tip indicates that products have been readied well in advance of the anticipated release window.

The insider source claims that the Sapphire Radeon RX 7600 PULSE graphics card will be sold for about $249 in that particular territory. Specifications on the outer packaging can be read (if you zoom in enough) - the Pulse custom variant is labeled as being overclocked out-of-the-box, so it is highly likely that it will be fitted with a custom cooling solution. The packaging's blurb lists the presence of 32 RDNA3 CUs - indicating a full configuration of AMD's Navi 33 GPU die, consisting of 2048 stream processors. The Pulse card gets an Infinity Cache allocation of 32 MB, and a specification of (now typical) 8 GB GDDR6 video memory is confirmed.

According to leaked details, it appears that ASRock is preparing at least three custom versions of the upcoming Radeon RX 7600 graphics card, including Phantom Gaming, Challenger, and Steel Legend series. The list of ASRock custom Radeon RX 7600 graphics cards comes from the ECC listing, and these three are listed among some other yet to be announced graphics cards.

As you can see from the list below, ASRock will have three Radeon RX 7600 versions, all of which are factory-overclocked. The Phantom Gaming version should be a more premium model, while the Challenger and Steel Legend should be closer to MSRP. The Steel Legend is a novelty in ASRock's graphics card lineup, and we expect a similar silver design found on ASRock's Steel Legend motherboards. The list also includes the recently announced Radeon RX 7900 XT Taichi White and a low profile Intel Arc A380 graphics card.

Hardware tipster harukaze5719 has once again spotted the registration of a new set of Gigabyte products - the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) has updated its registry with a slew of NVIDIA and AMD graphics cards - these listings were created this morning, and harukaze5719 picked up on this information almost immediately. Gigabyte's very mid-range new lineup is formed of nine RTX 4060 Ti GPU models and only a pair of Radeon RX 7600 GPU custom design cards - the common pattern is an allocation of 8 GB VRAM.

Gigabyte's two Radeon RX 7600 cards (Gaming & Gaming OC) are likely set for a May 25 launch, according to a combination of official AMD material and rumors from the past week or two - the slightly beefier Radeon RX 7600 XT is rumored to arrive on the same day. Leaked embargo information from earlier on this week suggests that NVIDIA is launching its GeForce RTX 4060 Ti lineup at the end of May, so an almost direct clash between it and AMD's upcoming Radeon 7600 and 7600 XT cards is expected to occur during that time period.

A bunch of unreleased AMD Radeon RX 7000 series graphics card have been spotted in ROCm 5.6 pull request, including the Radeon RX 7950 XTX, 7950 XT, 7800 XT, 7700 XT, 7600 XT, and 7500 XT. AMD has not yet launched its mainstream Radeon RX 7000 graphics cards, but according to the latest pull request, there are several unreleased graphics cards in for both high-end and mainstream segments. While the pull request has been removed from GitHub, it has been saved on Reddit. So far, it appears that AMD's RDNA 3 Radeon 7000 series lineup will be based on just three GPUs, Navi 33, Navi 32, and the Navi 31.

According to the list, we can expect a high-end refresh with Radeon RX 7950 XTX/XT version, also based on Navi 31 GPU. The list also shows that the Radeon RX 7800 series will be the only one based on the Navi 32 GPU, at least for now, while the Navi 33 GPU should cover the entire mainstream lineup, including the Radeon RX 7700 series, Radeon RX 7600 series, and the Radeon RX 7500 series. The list only includes XT versions, while non-XT should show up later, as it was the case with the Radeon RX 6000 series graphics cards. AMD's President and CEO, Dr. Lisa Su, already confirmed during Q1 2023 earnings call that mainstream Radeon RX 7000 series GPUs based on RDNA 3 architecture will launch during this quarter, and earlier rumors suggest we might see them at Computex 2023.

AMD has for long considered the RX x700 series as performance-segment, and the RX 7600 XT launch right after the high-end RX 7900 series would hint that the company is still figuring out the economics of its RX 7700 series and RX 7800 series.

"In gaming graphics, channel sell-through of our Radeon 6000 and Radeon 7000 series GPUs increased sequentially. We saw strong sales of our high-end Radeon 7900 XTX GPUs in the first quarter, and we're on track to expand our RDNA 3 GPU portfolio with the launch of new mainstream Radeon 7000 series GPUs this quarter," said Dr Lisa Su. With GPU prices in free-fall since the GPU-accelerated crypto-mining crash, AMD is in the process of clearing out its Radeon RX 6000 series inventory as it creates room for the RX 7000 series. Enthusiast-segment SKUs of the yesteryear, such as the RX 6900 series, could be had at prices under $600.

AMD Radeon RX 7600 XT reportedly launches on May 25, 2023. Moore's Law is Dead scored the key dates associated with the launch. The upcoming performance-segment graphics card is rumored to be based on the 5 nm "Navi 33" silicon and RDNA3 graphics architecture. Apparently, the tech press should have its samples to test by May 15, and AMD is taking a similar approach to NVIDIA's recent GeForce RTX 4070 launch, where cards priced at MSRP will be eligible to a review embargo that's a day sooner than that of non-MSRP cards. Reviews of MSRP cards go live on May 24, with those of non-MSRP cards following the next day on May 25, along with market availability. It's no wonder that we heard reports of RX 7600 series cards being shown off at Computex, all those cards will be available to purchase by then.

AMD is expected to debut its performance-segment Radeon RX 7600 RDNA3 graphics card in May-June 2023, with board partners expected to show off their custom-design cards in the 2023 Computex (June). Moore's Law is Dead reports that they've spoken to a source with access to an early graphics card sample running the 5 nm "Navi 33" silicon that powers the RX 7600. This card, with development drivers (which are sure to be riddled with performance limiters); offers a 11% performance uplift over the Radeon RX 6650 XT, and a gaming power draw of 175 W (the RX 6650 XT pulls around 185-190 W).

This is still an early sample running development drivers, but a 11% performance boost puts it in the league of the Radeon RX 6700 XT. Should a production RX 7600 with launch-day drivers put on another 5-7% performance over this, the RX 7600 could end up with performance roughly matching the RX 6750 XT (a slim performance lead over the RTX 3070 in 1080p gaming). Should its power draw also hold, one can expect custom-design graphics cards to ship with single 8-pin PCIe power connectors. A couple of nifty specs of the RX 7600 also leaked out in the MLID report: Firstly, that 8 GB will remain the standard memory size for the RX 7600, as it is for the current RX 6650 XT. Secondly, the RX 7600 engine clock is reported to boost "above" 2.60 GHz.

AMD is likely to skip the launch of a Radeon RX 7700 series for now, and prioritize the RX 7600 series. Sources tell Igor's Lab that AMD's dedicated AIB partners (such as ASRock, Sapphire, PowerColor, and XFX), are expected to have custom-design boards based on Radeon RX 7600 series ready to show by Computex 2023 (June), although multi-brand board partners, such as MSI, ASUS, and GIGABYTE, are expected to take a wait-and-watch approach toward the series. AMD is likely yet to figure out the economics of an RX 7700 series product that could compete with NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 4070 series, offering competitive performance and energy-efficiency, but the introduction of the RTX 4060 series could see NVIDIA reap the sub-$500 market, where AMD possibly has a competitive silicon.
