Shuttle Launches Xeon-Compatible XPC Barebone SW580R8 Mini-PC

To satisfy more than just the requirements of typical desktop applications, with the XPC Barebone SW580R8 the Taiwanese Mini-PC pioneer Shuttle is for the first time marketing a model with a cube format which impresses with features that were previously only found with traditional server and workstation products. Based on the Intel W580 chipset, as well as Intel Core processors of the 10th and 11th generation, the SW580R8 also supports Intel Xeon W series processors whose strengths lie in VFX, 3D rendering, complex 3D CAD and AI development & edge management.

For the first time in a Mini-PC from Shuttle, you can choose error-correcting ECC RAM. Spread over four slots, a maximum of 128 gigabytes is possible. Another first is the total of four network ports, two with a bandwidth of 2.5 Gbit and two with 1 Gbit, which support separate networks, offer failover and load balancing. One of the ports is vPro-compatible and AMT-compatible and, in conjunction with a suitable processor, enables convenient remote management, even when the PC is switched off.

Shuttle Unveils XPC Barebone XH510G2 Desktop

The Mini-PC pioneer Shuttle is venturing to achieve the delicate balance between compactness and flexibility with the 4.7-litre design. It has produced a 9.5 cm flat Mini-PC Barebone for lots of Intel Core processors of the 10th & 11th generation which features two PCI Express slots. This means it can confidently compete directly with workstations from major manufacturers with a similar format.

As its base area is only 25 × 20 cm, smaller than a sheet of A4 paper, it fits almost anywhere. Even the overall height of 9.5 cm is regarded as flat and provides plenty of space, for example for Intel Core i9 processors, dual-slot graphics cards, 64 GB of RAM and three drives. "Probably the biggest advantage over other products in the market is the flexibility. Buyers can decide the details of which components they want to use and the choice of operating system," explains Tom Seiffert, Head of Marketing & PR at Shuttle Computer Handels GmbH. "From the entry-level version with scope for an upgrade, through to the maximum configuration level, with the XH510G2 you have almost free rein to decide on a surprisingly large number of features."

Shuttle Unveils DH32U and DH32U5 Quad-Display Barebones

Shuttle has been supplying reliable hardware for professional multi-display applications for many years now, and this is also demonstrated by the Taiwanese Mini-PC manufacturer's extensive network of partners and integrators.
