In addition to its F12C gaming/HTPC chassis, Streacom also showed off a unique fanless chassis for Intel's NUC, the NC3. Pictured below, the NC3 is dressed for the CEO's desk. From the top it looks hexagonal in shape, with its central portion holding the NUC board, one of its triangles (black ABS plastic) holding a storage compartment; while its other triangle makes up a chunky aluminium heatsink for the CPU and core logic. Internally, a heat-pipe fed base connects the CPU to the body, which doubles up as its heatsink. Its rear I/O has cutouts for a pair of USB 3.0 ports, the RJ45 (Ethernet) connector, a mini-HDMI, and a mini-DisplayPort. The front panel, on the other hand, features connectors for not just a couple of USB 3.0 ports, and the power button, but also drops in an infrared receiver.

Known more for its elegant SFF and NUC cases, Streacom took a dip into the world of gaming PC cases, with the F12C. It goes with the marketing tagline "elegant, yet powerful chassis for the living room," which tells us that Streacom is targeting that market which puts its gaming-capable PCs in the living room, and that PCs built around this case will make up as good HTPCs as gaming.

Pictured below, the F12C can seat standard ATX motherboards, with standard ATX PSUs. The case can accommodate graphics cards as long as 300 mm, and reasonably tall CPU coolers. Over the upper half of the motherboard tray are detachable radiator rails, so you can bolt on a 240 x 120 mm radiator. Additional 240 x 120 mm radiators can also be mounted along the case's left-side pair of 120 mm vents, but that would eat into one or more expansion slots. Storage area includes four 3.5-inch, and two 2.5-inch bays. Its cooling system includes two 120 mm vents on each side (one of which on the right side acts as the PSU vent); and two top exhausts (over the radiator rail). There are also passive vents over the rear I/O.

Streacom will unveil their first gaming case with powerful cooling capabilities for standard sized components at Computex 2014 in Taipei, from 3rd to 7th of June. On booth J0505 at the Ground Floor in the Nangang exhibition hall, Streacom will also show a new chassis for Intel's NUC which brings a whole new meaning to the idea of customization.

Computex in Taipei, Taiwan, is a great opportunity companies in the IT business to show new and innovative products to the world. This year, Streacom will unveil their first chassis that is designed for gaming, while staying within the usual HiFi width for AV products. The F12C is an elegant, yet powerful chassis for the living room, which suits perfectly to an existent HiFi environment. The case has been designed to take standard sized PC components, such as video cards with 30 cm length, ATX motherboards, ATX power supplies, up to four 3.5" HDDs and two 2.5" SSDs and radiators for CPU and GPU cooling. Streacom introduces the MH1 Mini Heatpipe Kit which increases the motherboard compatibility of the fanless FC8 Evo chassis. Designed to replace the stock heatpipes supplied with the FC8 Evo, the MH1 kit contains a full set of mini copper heatpipes with a diameter of 6mm. These shorter heatpipes have been designed to allow for motherboards with CPU socket locations that are positioned towards the right side of the motherboard (close to the heatsink sidepanel), greatly expanding the range of motherboards that are compatible with the FC8 Evo, including for example boards with Intel's H87 chipset. Streacom showed off a unique aluminum-built cube-shaped mini-ITX case, the DB4. Measuring 250 x 250 x 250 mm (excluding the two angled feet), and made mostly of aluminum with a tinted acrylic top, the case seats a mini-ITX motherboard vertically, right along the center, and in such a way, that its rear-panel ports stick out from the case' bottom. The four main sides of the case are made of ridged 2 mm-thick aluminum, which double up as a CPU heatsink. Six 6 mm-thick copper heat pipes conduct heat from the CPU to the body, where it's dissipated. The case can handle thermal loads from the CPU, of up to 65W. Internally, the motherboard tray splits the case vertically into two compartments, one of which is dedicated to drives. The case uses an external power brick. The DB4 should look great in corner offices and living rooms.

Streacom gave us a sneak-peek into its upcoming case for Intel's next unit of computing (NUC) form-factor. Made of aluminum and ABS, the case doubles up as heatsink for the NUC's hot components (such as CPU and PCH). It features a universal CPU block, so the case can adapt to future NUC boards with CPUs at different spots.

The sides of the case are not made of aluminum, this is where the NUC's WLAN/Bluetooth antennae attach, and so an ABS panel boosts signal strength. The case is designed specifically for Intel's D33217GKE motherboard, with ports mapped for its two HDMI connectors, three USB ports, power, and Ethernet. It will be available in two color options, silver (pictured below) and carbon-black. Availability is expected sometime in Q2 2013.

AMD Japan teamed up with ASUS to display a concept 100% fanless (silent) HTPC build to buyers at Tokyo's Akihabara electronics shopping district. The build uses Streacom FC5 chassis with a CPU base modified for socket FM2. The base conducts heat from the processor using four copper heat pipes to the aluminum chassis, which doubles up as a heatsink. The build utilizes AMD A10-5700 APU, ASUS F2A85-M Pro micro-ATX motherboard based on AMD A85X chipset, 8 GB of AMD-certified DDR3-1866 MHz memory, and Corsair Force GT SSD. The concept build shows buyers that AMD's "Trinity" APUs are ready, willing, and able to power silent HTPC builds.

Streacom's newest duo of silent all-aluminum cases for HTPCs, the micro-ATX FC9, and the ATX FC10, inch closer to their Computex 2012 launch. Their specifications were leaked by the company's Chinese website. Both cases ensure the machines running in them stay quiet, and remain completely fanless, because their bodies double up as heatsinks for sensitive components, such as the processor. Both cases are made of brushed silver and black (sandblast finish) color options.

Measuring 348 x 289 x 100 mm (WxDxH), the Streacom FC9 supports motherboards in the micro-ATX and mini-ITX form-factors. It features one 2.5-inch drive bay, and a 3.5-inch bay, which supports 2.5-inch drives. It also has a bay for a slimline slot-loading optical drive. A CPU base makes contact with the processor (LGA775, LGA1155, LGA1156 supported), which conveys heat to a side panel via four copper heat pipes. All six panels of the case are made of thick aluminum sheets, some of which are ridged to increase surface area for heat dissipation. The case features three low-profile expansion slots.
