Thermalright today unveiled the AXP-100H Muscle, a top-flow air CPU cooler. Featuring a "C-type" aluminium fin-stack design, this cooler uses a nickel-plated copper base with mirror finish; from which fix 6 mm-thick nickel-plated copper heat pipes project outward, conveying heat to a dense aluminium fin-stack arranged along the plane of the motherboard. This fin-stack is ventilated by a 100 mm fan. The included fan spins at speeds between 900-2,500 RPM, with an air-flow of 16-44.5 m³/h, and a noise output of 22-30 dBA. The fan takes input from 4-pin (PWM) fan headers. The cooler is rated for thermal loads of up to 180W. The cooler supports Intel LGA115x and AMD AM3+ (up to 140W TDP only), and FM2+.

Thermalright today announced the TRUE Spirit 140 Direct, the latest version of its best-selling tower-type CPU cooler. Built on the proven TRUE Spirit 140 platform, the new cooler features a revised base in which the five 6 mm-thick nickel-plated copper heat-pipes make direct contact with the CPU. The five heat-pipes pass through points in the aluminium fin-stack that are evenly distributed.

The fin-stack itself is just 77 mm thick, although is taller, holding on to larger 140 mm fans. The included fan takes in 4-pin PWM power input, spins between 300-1300 RPM, and pushes up to 125 m³/h of air, with a noise output ranging between 15-21 dBA. The cooler is capable of handling thermal loads of up to 200W. Measuring 152 mm x 77 mm x 161 mm, the heatsink weights about 760 g. The fan adds about 26 mm of thickness to it. The cooler supports all modern CPU socket types, including LGA2011v3, LGA115x, AM3+, and FM2+. Available now, the TRUE Spirit 140 Direct CPU cooler is priced at 37.99€.

Thermalright annouced the Le Grand Macho RT CPU cooler. With the Le Grand Macho RT we offer an actively cooled version of our famous semi-passive flagship. Thanks to the silent-running TY 147 B with fluid dynamic bearing, the Le Grand Macho RT can cool up to 280 Watt. The design of the heat sink has not been changed and is still asymmetrical. This offers the highest possible compatibility to the most recent motherboards. Thus it is guaranteed that the Le Grand Macho RT neither blocks the RAM spaces, nor the top-most PCIe slot on current ATX-boards.

Visually, the Le Grand Macho RT is top of the line. The heatsink shines in silver nickel plating and features a black anodized top fin, combined with the black and white fan. The Le Grand Macho comes with a TY 147 B PWM fan included. The fan is a slightly upgraded version of the TY 147 A. It uses an FD bearing and is, also thanks to the side vents in the fan frame, even more silent than the TY 147 A. At 14 - 20 dB(a) the fan moves up to 125 m³/h through the cooler. The fan speed ranges from 300 - 1,300 rpm.

Introducing the Macho 120 SBM. A new cooler joins the Macho Family: With the Macho 120 SBM Thermalright added a compact version of its popular Macho 120 Rev. A to its portfolio. Its narrower design makes it the ideal candidate for Mini-ITX or Micro-ATX systems, where it can score with its maximum compatibility. With dimension of 130 x 101 x 150 mm the Macho 120 SBM is noticeably thinner than its "big brother." Thus it can easily fit in cases for which the Macho 120 Rev. A was too big. The newly designed TY 127 PWM fan provides the necessary airflow and guarantees the cooler an outstanding cooling performance.

The concept of the heatsink aligned to the rear that is used for all the coolers of the Macho family is also part of the design of the Macho 120 SBM, which eliminates the possibility of interference with RAM-coolers almost completely. Five 6 mm heatpipes, in conjunction with the 30 aluminum cooling fins in the typical Macho design ensure that the cooler offers a superior heat dissipation. The fins offer a particularly low air resistance and have been optimized for low-rpm fans.

Introducing the Macho Direct from Thermalright. With the Macho Direct we present our first Heatpipe Direct Touch cooler. We are expecting it to reach the top of the HDT-cooler charts thanks to its particular conception. The cooler is based on the proven Macho-Design and is aimed at customers who are looking for an effective cooler at a budget.

The successful concept of the powerful heatsink, which is still aligned to the rear, was not changed. The Macho Direct also uses the special design of the aluminum cooling fins - indicative for a very low air resistance - that has been optimized for low running fans. Several openings counteract the accumulation of air between the cooling fins, so that an optimum air exchange is ensured.

Thermalright rolled out its latest flagship CPU cooler, the Grand Macho, or Le Grande Macho as it's probably known in French markets, as picked up by our colleagues at FanlessTech. An extremely beefed up version of the original Macho, this off-center aluminium fin tower-type cooler features more fins, including odd-shaped fins that wrap around the base; an additional heat-pipe, taking its tally to 7, compared to 6 on the original, and 8 on the HR22.

Another of its characteristics is a matte-black top-fin. Although the tower is off-center, there are cutouts in the fin-stack for DIMM clearance on either sides (should help with LGA2011/v3 builds in which there are DIMM slots on either sides of the socket. The cooler measures 150 mm x 120 mm x 159 mm, weighing 900 g. The cooler is designed for both passive (up to 95W TDP), and active (up to 300W), with a pair of 120 mm spinners in push-pull configuration. The company didn't detail pricing or availability.

Right before for Christmas Thermalright presents two new CPU coolers, which have been designed especially for fans of compact Mini-ITX or Micro-ATX systems: The Macho 90 and the Silver Arrow ITX.

The Macho 90 is the newest member of our highly successful Macho Family and rounds off the series. The layout is tailored to fit the typical limitations encountered when dealing with small sized Mini-ITX motherboards. The height of just 135 mm allows the installation of the cooler in various compact PC cases. In order to avoid incompatibilities to RAM modules or motherboard components as much as possible, the nearly square heatsink has been placed directly above the CPU-socket.

Air cooling expert Thermalright launched the True Spirit 140 BW Rev A CPU cooler, the latest iteration of its popular 140 mm-fan ready tower-type cooler. This revision sees the overall height of the main heatsink lowered by 5 mm, by thinning the base a little, and compacting the fin-stack (without reducing the number of fins). A matte black fin tops off the stack. The cooler uses six 6 mm-thick nickel-plated copper heat pipes, that convey heat drawn from a mirror-finish nickel-plated copper base, through the fin stack, which can hold on to a pair of 140 mm fans. A Thermalright TY-142 spinner comes included. Including this fan, the cooler measures 80 mm x 155 mm x 165 mm (WxLxH), weighing 770 g. It supports nearly every modern CPU socket type, including LGA2011v3, LGA1150, AM3+, and FM2+. Thermalright could price the cooler on par with the existing True Spirit 140, at US $55.

Since the release of the Thermalright HR-02 Macho in the summer of 2011 the semi-passive cooler has been the reference in the field of low-noise coolers. Copied several times since then, the Macho is still unbeaten in its price range even after more than 3 years.

Nevertheless, Thermalright did not rest on their laurels and continued to develop the cooler. Based on the new, highly acclaimed "IB-E" flagships Silver Arrow and Archon, the Macho Rev. B now also features an enlarged, nickel plated, and polished base (53 x 40 mm).

Since its release in the summer of 2011, the Macho is undoubtedly the first choice for hardware enthusiasts who are looking for a very powerful and quiet CPU cooler. Now, the favorite Thermalright cooler of all times is available in a Special Edition for silent fans. True to its motto "innovate - don't imitate," Thermalright consequently improves on the original cooler concept and implements suggestions by their fan base. The result is a further optimized cooler which is not only improved in terms of its looks.

The cooler is presented in a stylish "Black Nickel Design" and thus stands out from the "gray" mass of CPU coolers. The copper heatpipes and the mounting kit are also black nickel plated. In connection with the black anodized Top Fin the cooler offers a probably unique elegant appearance. The main focus of the Macho Zero was ultra-quiet operation. The cooler is accordingly not equipped with a fan.

"Gaming Series" proved to be a successful way for MSI to package its graphics cards and motherboards. The signature deep-red and black color scheme, coupled with the "dragon" logo deck up MSI products in a premium way that only ROG managed for ASUS; and the company is looking to milk it further. According to an Expreview report, MSI is planning to launch Gaming Series-branded cases and cooling solutions. MSI isn't new to cases, but its cases haven't exactly made a mark for themselves, or seen wide availability. The company will, hence, tie up with proven case (and cooling) manufacturers such as NZXT, and share its branding with them.

Enthusiasts in China spotted MSI Gaming Series variants of popular NZXT cases, such as the Phantom 410 (pictured below), and also certain cases from Jonsbo, a local Lian Li-like case maker that specializes in all-aluminium monoliths. Sources also told Expreview that MSI could share the Gaming Series brand with the likes of Thermalright/Cogage, which could launch a variant of its True Spirit TS120 tower-type CPU air cooler.

Thermalright has just announced new editions of three of its CPU coolers, the TRUE Spirit 90M, TRUE Spirit 120M and Macho 120. Known as Rev.A, the tweaked versions of said coolers include updates like Nickel plated heatpipes, a black anodized top fin, and a mounting system that no longer requires a backplate. The TRUE Spirit 120M Rev.A also comes with a new fan holder.

Having made its first public appearance way back in November 2012, and trade-show display at this year's Computex event, it's been a long journey to the market for Thermalright's massive HR-22 CPU heatsink, which is so large, that you wouldn't need an additional fan, to cool a typical CPU, and can rely on the rear fan of your case to gently ventilate it. The company formally launched it.

The HR-22 is a monolithic aluminium fin stack heatsink to which heat is fed by eight 6 mm thick nickel-plated copper heat pipes. Each fin features a series of cuts and air-guides, which make up the heatsink's DPAS (directed passive airflow system), that taps into the natural convection within a PC case, and utilizes it fully, to dissipate heat from the CPU. Measuring 120 mm x 150 mm x 159 mm (WxDxH), the HR-22 weighs 1.12 kg, and supports all modern CPU socket types, including LGA2011, LGA115x, LGA1366, AM3+/AM3, and FM2+/FM2.

Thermalright has now rolled out its latest heat-dispersing creation, the HTPC-friendly AXP-200 CPU cooler. This low-profile cooler measures 150 (L) x 140 (W) x 60 (H) mm, it weighs 475 grams and features six 6 mm-thick heatpipes, a nickel plated copper base, an adjustable fan mount, and a 150 mm fan operating at 700 to 1300 RPM (maximum sound level is 30.6dBA).

The AXP-200 supports Intel LGA775/1156/1366/1155/2011/1150 and AMD AM2/AM2+/AM3/AM3+/FM1/FM2 processors and costs €49.99.

Thermalright's AXP-100 SFF-friendly C-type heatsink is about to get a bigger sibling, the AXP-200. Its engineering drawings were leaked to the web, revealing a C-type cooler capable of latching on to large 140 mm fans, measuring 153 x 140 x 60 mm, and weighing in at 475 g. Its basic design is identical to the AXP-100, with a compact 22 mm clearance between the fin-stack and the base.

The AXP-200 uses six 6 mm-thick heat pipes that emerge from a nickel-plated copper base, conveying heat to an aluminum fin-stack that's arranged along the plane of the motherboard. It features 48 fins with a spacing of 2 mm. The AXP-200 should ship with a 140 mm fan (likely stock TY-140), although it's capable of handling CPUs with up to 35W TDP completely fan-less. There's no word on when exactly we'll see it in stores, or at what price.

Lacking its own booth at Computex this year, Thermalright displayed a few of its products in Nanoxia's booth, among them the previously teased HR-22 cooler, a massive monolithic heat sink meant to further the merits and virtues of its praised predecessor, the HR-02. Judging by the sheer size of the beast and the design choices evident in the pictures below (eight 6 mm heat pipes and an extended fin area when compared to the HR-02, a massive heat sink in its own right), one would expect the new HR-22 to compete for the top position among passive coolers.
