According to the latest NVIDIA knowledge base FAQ, the pricing structure of NVIDIA's GeForce NOW game streaming service is increasing. Applicable only to Canada and Europe, the price increases due to "increased operational costs in those areas," as NVIDIA notes. The customers paying in CAD, GBP, EUR, SEK, NOK, DKK, CZK, and PLN will experience a roughly 10-20% price increase of around one to two Euros, based on the GeForce NOW subscription level. However, there is a good chance to secure better prices for the following months, as active and new members who sign up for GeForce NOW before November 1st can lock in their memberships at the current pricing for six months before experiencing an increase.

The company notes that this also impacts membership gift card pricing adjustment, with gift cards purchased before November 1st honoring the old pricing and newly minted gift cards after November 1st getting a price increase. This change occurs across all subscription tiers, including the Priority tier for 1080p gaming at 60 FPS, the Ultimate tier for 4K experience at 120 FPS, and the Founders Ultimate tier, which increases gameplay duration from six to eight hours. Following on from the official reveal of EA Sports WRC, here are some more details on what players can expect when the game releases on November 3 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via EA App, Epic Store, and Steam. Heritage and Experience
EA Sports WRC is built on the foundations of over 25 years of off-road videogame heritage from development studio Codemasters. The team's previous rally game, DIRT Rally 2.0, paved the way for a new generation of rally game running on the Unreal Engine. Moving to the Unreal Engine has afforded the team greater freedom to create the biggest rally stages in Codemasters' history, with the longest routes spanning over 30 km - roughly twice as long as those seen in previous titles. In total, EA Sports WRC features over 600 km of unique roads, almost double what was available in DiRT Rally 2.0.

SYNCED features three player co-operative gameplay, with Runners able to increase their squad size by syncing with Prime Nanos and turning them into deployable Companion Nanos. Runners will be able to strategically utilise their Companion Nano's skills to compliment their play style and turn the tide of the battle.

This coming week, one of the most hyped AAA games of the year will launch and early previews of the game suggests it might just manage to mostly live up to the hype. However, the rest of this week is rather slow, maybe because all of the other publishers know most people will be busy playing their fancy new space game and won't be interested in what else might launch this week, although some appear to be riding on the wave of said space game. That said, there are still some minor releases this week, with at least a couple that might appeal to some of you.

DirectStorage ensures quick loading times, and GPU decompression is used at high graphics settings to stream assets in the background while playing. Traditionally, this decompression is handled by the CPU, but at a certain point, there is an advantage to letting the GPU handle this, as this enables a higher bandwidth for streaming assets from storage to the graphics card. We use this to quickly load high-quality textures and environments with a high level of detail."

A new trailer for Hellboy Web of Wyrd was unveiled yesterday during the IGN x ID@Xbox Digital Showcase, giving us a brand-new glimpse at the upcoming action title. We had the chance to chat to two developers from Upstream Arcade, Adam Langridge and Patrick Martin, about how the art direction of Hellboy Web of Wyrd, how Mignola's presence is felt throughout the game, and the work put in to craft a fresh story while remaining faithful to the Hellboy series.
