Star Wars Squadrons comes at a very reasonable $40 and gives you that Star Wars pilot experience everybody is looking for. Sounds and graphics are excellent, and FPS are high, especially on AMD Radeon. We tested the game's performance with 29 graphics cards, including NVIDIA Ampere.

DOOM Eternal is the long-awaited sequel to the epic DOOM series. There's even more carnage, and gameplay is super fast-paced. Built upon the id Tech 7 engine, visuals are excellent, and graphics performance is outstanding. We tested the game on all modern graphics cards at Full HD, 1440p and 4K Ultra HD.

Wolcen, which has been in early access for a long time, has now finally released and brings fresh wind to the action-RPG genre. Graphics and gameplay are topnotch, and the game runs well on modern graphics cards. We tested three resolutions, including 4K Ultra HD, on 26 graphics cards from AMD and NVIDIA.

Control by Remedy Games is an open-world third-person shooter set in a building. Besides the interesting setting, graphics are great, and the game has support for multiple NVIDIA RTX raytracing technologies, probably making this the first game where RTX is really worth it.

Bethesda's RAGE 2 returns you to the post-apocalyptic world of RAGE with new gameplay mechanics, new enemies, and fast-paced gun play. Unlike its predecessor, RAGE 2 uses the Apex Engine with Vulkan, which helps AMD cards gain performance over their NVIDIA counterparts. We tested using 18 cards at three resolutions, including 4K Ultra HD.

Devil May Cry 5 is one of the most anticipated titles this season. The third-person hack-and-slash action adventure comes with outstanding graphics thanks to DirectX 12 support and incredibly detailed character models and textures. Optimization is excellent, too, especially for AMD Radeon cards.

Unruly Heroes is a side scroller puzzler/beat 'em up that sits squarely between Trine and Child of Light. You play as four interchangeable heroes without almost-but-not-quite unique skills, and charge through some extremely large and vertical levels, smashing your way through puzzles and hidden areas.

Steel Shadows is the second game in a series called Ancient Frontier, an independently developed Sci-Fi strategy game by Fair Weather Studios. The game focuses more on the pirate side of space exploration and leans heavily towards fleet management as opposed to the empire management you'd usually see in games like Endless Space.

Book of Demons is a delightful little papercraft dungeon crawler by developers Thing Trunk. It has plenty of full fat features in typical diabolical dungeon crawler style, but uses cards as items and skills, which are used in live instead of turn-based combat. It's also everything I hoped and dreamed for in such a format.
