Introduction
I would like to thank
BFG Tech for supplying the test sample.
Specifications from Manufacturer
By using Frequency Conversion technology, the ES power supply can actually emulate virtually any size power supply and therefore be at least 80% efficient, even with loads as low as 10% of the unit's maximum capability. ES power supplies have the lowest minimum load requirements and the best +5VSB efficiency on the market. BFG Tech uses all Japanese made capacitors for longer life and gold-plated pins for improved conductivity.

Packaging
BFG's packaging for the ES800 looks clean and stylish. While it is not as flashy as the boxes of other manufacturers it does the job. On the back you find a basic installation guide - good idea to assure in-store customers that they can install it themselves, and two charts showing noise and efficiency, both very important as well.
