Introduction

From the CRYORIG website:
WHO AND WHAT IS CRYORIG?

CRYORIG was officially founded in 2013, but took several years in the making. We began our journey right at the start of the first decade of the 2000's. During what was the most prosperous age of PC DIY and Overclocking. Members of our team have either worked directly or indirectly with brands such as Thermalright, Prolimatech, Phanteks and many more. We ourselves are overclockers and PC modding enthusiasts, with a passion and drive to strive for improvement. With direct knowledge of manufacturing and design as well as holding multiple patents under our collective belt, we decided to make a name for ourselves, and that name is CRYORIG. So what is CRYORIG exactly? CRYORIG is about making the coolest rig possible.

CRYORIG has only been a part of the cooling market for a short while, but the company already has an extensive lineup of CPU coolers and fans, and they have quickly made a name for themselves with the R1 Ultimate and R1 Universal. With coolers like the R1 and newer H series, they are now a part of nearly every price segment when it comes to CPU coolers. Their rapid expansion and desire to offer high quality products has served them well thus far. Here's to hoping it continues to do so.

In today's review, I look at the CRYORIG H7. The smaller sibling to the H5, it is actually a new model for the mainstream market. It makes use of forty aluminum fins and three Ø6 mm heatpipes that are cooled by a 120 mm x 25 mm fan. While the design may not be exciting, single tower coolers have proven their worth time and again. This particular tower's biggest mainstay, however, is its limitless memory clearance. Let's now figure out what the H7 Universal can do!
