The Card
Club3D's card follows the company's latest design theme that combines a matte black with the company's signature red on a cooler with a perfectly flat top. Stylish, I like it. Recent cards by Club3D are card-gaming inspired, and the same goes for the HD 7870 jokerCard. We, for example, see the clubs symbol on the fan hub.
Installation of the card requires two slots in your system.
Display connectivity options include one DVI port, one full-sized HDMI port, and two mini-DisplayPorts. You may use all the outputs at the same time.
The GPU also includes an HDMI sound device. It is HDMI 1.4a compatible, which includes HD audio and Blu-ray 3D movies support.
A single CrossFire connector is available, so you may combine this card with another Tahiti-based HD 7870 for improved performance. This card cannot CrossFire with a regular Pitcairn-based HD 7870. A CrossFire combination with the HD 7950 and HD 7970 works (I tested it out).
