The 700K is a big keyboard for the macro fanatic. The combination of on-board memory and its extended macro capabilities make it a good choice for someone heavily into RPGs. Cougar has gone with the conventional Cherry MX Reds for this keyboard, and the Reds are a great fit as they are still the go-to key for gamers. The back-lit key system works as it should and gives you room to customize it as well.
Currently, the keyboard retails at $149.99, which makes it one of the more expensive mechanical decks out there. The added functionality on the 700K as compared to a regular gaming keyboard is in the way it handles macros. The aluminum cover plate is more of an aesthetics rather than functional thing, and it does make typing quickly on the 700K a bit more noisy.
