Gigabyte B75M-D3H Intel LGA 1155 Review

Value & Conclusion

  • The Gigabyte B75M-D3H is available right now, with a very affordable price of $79.99.
  • High-level of performance.
  • Very low cost.
  • Full-fledged dual UEFI BIOSes, with support for 3TB+ drives.
  • Low power consumption, matching designs far more complex.
  • Very limited overclocking/voltage options
  • No MOSFET cooling
  • Very limited rear I/O connectivity options.
The Gigabyte B75M-D3H impressed me like no other. Considering its intended market, the Gigabyte B75M-D3H offers all of the features that the platform offers and cuts no corners except cost. With top-level performance, while at the same time having very reasonable power consumption, Gigabyte has really hit the mark with the B75M-D3H and made no compromises. Even so, it's one of the most affordable B75 Express boards on the market right now, and for mATX solutions, it offers more than any other does for the same cost, either by the number of memory slots or by expansion slot options. I would have liked to have seen at least a few more overclocking options considering how little power Intel's latest processor consumes, and that's the only thing that kept me from giving it a perfect score. If you want a stable, low-cost platform and aren't planning for any overclocks, I find it hard to even consider any other option.
