The Card

Graphics Card Back

The GTX 680 LTD OC uses a white PCB, which looks kinda sexy. Unfortunately, the black cooler, which covers the whole front, doesn't let you see much of the PCB. On the other hand, the black cooler does provide a color contrast; it is up to you to decide whether you like it.

The card requires two slots in your system.

Monitor Outputs, Display Connectors

Display connectivity options include one full-size DisplayPort and three mini-HDMI ports. You may use all the outputs at the same time. Please note that using a dual-link DVI display (1920x1200 and up) requires that you buy an active dual-link DisplayPort-to-DVI adapter. A passive adapter or any HDMI adapter will only work up to 1920x1080.

An HDMI sound device is included in the GPU, too. It is HDMI 1.4a compatible which includes HD audio and support for Blu-ray 3D movies. The DisplayPort outputs are version 1.2 which enables the use of hubs and Multi-Stream Transport.

You may combine up to four GTX 680 cards from any vendor in a multi-GPU SLI configuration for higher frame rates or better image quality settings.
