I would like to thank CaseKing.de for supplying the review samples.

CaseKing is one of the few companies out there, which will not just sell anything. They only offer hardware that performs well and is of high quality. The shop offers quite a few exclusive parts and devices from all around the world and it is also the official distributor for a long list of well known manufacturers. Their assortment has grown greatly in recent years, while great service and support is still a very important part of the shop philosophy. The website may be in German, but due to great demand, an English version is in the works. We received continous support from CaseKing and they were kind enough to send us the latest and possibly the greatest case yet from NZXT: the Phantom and the Hale90 power supply

The case is currently available in white and black, but NZXT is working hard on bringing a red version to the market as well.

Features
  • High Performance Cooling Advantages – Phantom’s extensive cooling capabilities include 7 fan cooling options with dual 200mm, single side 230/200mm (NZXT only guarantees fitment with NZXT's FN-200), triple 120mm, and front 140mm fans. For enhanced control and expandability, NZXT includes dual radiator support, quad watercooling cutouts, and an integrated fan controller with up to five 20W channels.
  • Simple Installation – Phantom celebrates an array of innovative features designed to enhance every stage of the build. Meticulous wire management is easily attainable with large spacing behind the motherboard. The innovative all-new 5.25” screwless rails make installing and swapping HDDs an effortless process. Rubber grommets dampens vibration during operation.
  • Additional Advanced Features – Further distinct features include an LED on/off button to control fan lighting, rubber PSU and case feet to reduce vibration, easily removable front and top panels, and top mounted USB, Audio/Mic, and E-SATA ports.
  • Extensive Compatibility and Expandability – Features support for larger heat sinks, graphics cards, and E-ATX motherboards enabling enthusiasts to include any of today’s hottest components. Vast space within the enclosure allows for 7 hard drives with SDD support and up to five 5.25” bays.

NZXT Hale90 80Plus Gold Series Power Supply

We also got the Hale90 650W Power Supply. While we will not go into much depth as far as the electronics is concerned, the Hale90 Series offers a few interesting features, that do make it stand apart from other units. And the all white finish goes so well with the NZXT Phantom, that we will use it for this case review as well. One interesting aspect is the fact, that the entire Hale90 series is 80Plus Gold certified - even the 550W version. the 650, 750, 850 and 1000W units come with partial cable management, while the 550W has fixed attached ones.
