Introduction

NVIDIA's GeForce GTX 750 Ti was released in February this year. Using the first GPU based on the NVIDIA "Maxwell" architecture, its GM107 graphics processors utilize the 28 nanometer process. It is also the most power-efficient GPU to date, which has turned GM107-based products into the optimum choice for compact, low-power media PCs. With its 640 shaders, the GTX 750 Ti is fine for entry level gaming, but certainly not for maximum details play at 1080p.



Palit's brand-new GeForce GTX 750 Ti KalmX is the first and only NVIDIA GTX 750 Ti on the market with a passive cooling solution. This also makes it the fastest passive graphics card with an NVIDIA graphics processor as the next-fastest passive NVIDIA card is the aging GeForce GT 640.

Being passively cooled makes it a great choice for a quiet office system or a media PC. Running NVIDA's default clocks, Palit has not overclocked their card out of the box. With 2 GB of memory, the card is also using the GTX 750 Ti's bigger memory configuration, with 1 GB as the other option.

Pricing of the card is not cheap as it currently retails for €130. The cheapest GTX 750 Ti 2 GB can be had for €105. Since Palit's card is not available in the United States, we estimated its USD price to be $180 for all comparisons in this review.
