Ripple Measurements
You will see the ripple levels we measured on the main rails of the ST60F-ESB in the following table. The limits are, according to the ATX specification, 120 mV (+12V) and 50 mV (5V, 3.3V, and 5VSB).

Let's start with the good news due to the excellent ripple suppression on the +12V rail - not only for the unit's price, but even in comparison to high-end PSUs. The 5V rail also performed fairly well, but the bad news start with the 3.3V rail's mediocre ripple suppression. Continuing on with the bad, the 5VSB rail couldn't handle the full load test as it failed to keep its ripple suppression under the 50 mV limit, which, however, won't pose much of a problem to the devices it will be called upon to feed. The 5V rail also registered very high ripple that was almost double that of the limit once we deliberately stressed the PSU highly for the CL 1 test. We believe that the +12 V and 5 V rails would behave better at higher loads, but the point of this test is to check for Haswell compatibility, which has us run the PSU through the same values as every other PSU we evaluate.
Ripple at Full Load
In the following oscilloscope screenshots, you can see the AC ripple and noise the main rails registered (+12V, 5V, 3.3V, and 5VSB). The bigger the fluctuations on the oscilloscope's screen, the bigger the ripple/noise. For all measurements, we set 0.01 V/Div (each vertical division/box equals 0.01 V) as the standard.
