I would like to thank CaseKing.de for supplying the review sample.

CaseKing is one of the few companies out there, which will not just sell anything. They only offer hardware that performs well and is of high quality. The shop offers quite a few exclusive parts and devices from all around the world and it is also the official distributor for a long list of well known manufacturers. Their assortment has grown greatly in recent years, while great service and support is still a very important part of the shop philosophy. The website may be in German, but due to great demand, an English version is in the works. We received the very successful Cooler Master Stacker 832 and the brand new NZXT HUSH from them. CaseKing also offers a wide range of gaming mice, mouse pads and keyboard. Such a selective and wide array of gaming devices all in one place is very rare and the Speed-Link Illuminated Dark Metal Keyboard is one of them.

Packaging & Contents

Speed-Link ships the Illuminated Dark Metal Keyboard in a very compact, full color cardboard box. It has the same red and white color theme and layout as all Speed-Link products. This makes it much easier to find something by the company on a crowded shelf. The front is taken up by the name and a large illustration of the keyboard itself, while the back highlights all the major features.

Once opened up, you can see that Speed-Link further protects the keyboard with a thin, but fairly sturdy plastic bag. The manual and driver CD can be found under the keyboard. The inclusion of software is a surprise, as there are no programmable buttons on the keyboard.
