Introduction

Sunrise is a completely new brand formed by a OEM manufacturer that has been making earbuds for a long time. The Sunrise brand will focus on providing earbuds and in-ears for the more budget conscious crowd. The earbuds start at $20 for the AS-Miss and $40 for the AS-Feeling and their high end offering the AS-Charm will sell for $80. Today we will be taking a look at the mid-fi offering from Sunrise namely the AS-Feeling. The Feeling earbuds have an impedance of only 22 Ohms and can be driven close to their potential by just about any decent DAP or PMP on the market today.

Some of you might find the earbud genre a bit jurrasic, but they do serve as a good middle ground between in-ears and supra-aural/on-ear headphones. Their small form factor and lack of isolation means that they are good for environments where ease of insertion is paramount and no isolation is needed. Up until now the only real player on the high end in-ear market was Yuin with their OK and PK-series earbuds. Compared to the Yuin PK-lineup the Sunrise in-ears are cheaper. The earbuds from both manufacturers are both made with the same type of cable and come with almost the same set of accessories.
