Closer Examination

The Zoom pad comes in the same type of packaging as the XTracPads Pro we reviewed here. It utilizes a blue/black theme to set itself apart from the Pro, which uses a red/black package. The front lets the potential buyer know what type of pad they will be getting and even has a small hole so you can run your fingers over the surface to get an idea of its structure. On the back you will find a list of features and specifications as well as a quote from a review.


As is the case with all XTracPads products, there is a sticker with the company logo and website included.


The pad itself shares the same theme as the Pro. The hexagonal shapes and wide black stripe look identical. The bottom right features the company logo and website adress as well as the name of the mouse pad - Zoom.


The Zoom pad sports a white surface, this is why it may be a bit hard to see. It is covered with some non-sticky, non-removable adhesive to hold the pad in place. This backing is called "Sure Grip III".
